Welcome to Trout Hollow Cottage, a beautifully renovated and remodeled log cabin situated on 1,200 feet of the beautiful Boardman River, complete with a riverfront hot tub! Private, private, private! Water surrounds three sides of the property, with a small pond on the fourth.
Located directly on the riverbanks, this charming cabin offers the perfect escape on the pristine Boardman River in Traverse City, Michigan. With approximately 1,200 feet of private river frontage, Trout Hollow Cottage is ideal for families or small groups looking for a peaceful and private getaway.
The beautifully designed cottage sleeps up to 6 guests, with two bedrooms and a queen-size sleeper sofa. Every room except the bathroom offers magnificent views of the river as it wraps around the property.
With solid-surface flooring throughout, the cottage combines modern comfort with a cozy, rustic atmosphere while preserving some of the original, well-maintained log walls dating back to the 1940s.
Step outside and enjoy stunning river views from the large, well-appointed deck featuring a private hot tub, grill, picnic table with a large sun umbrella, and plenty of reclining and swivel outdoor chairs. The hot tub can be enjoyed day or night, with amazing views of the stars unobstructed by city lights.
Inside, the fully equipped kitchen features a beautiful granite island, making meals and entertaining easy and enjoyable. Entertainment options include cable TV and internet, a 75-inch TV in the living room and 65-inch TVs in each bedroom. A full-size washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience.

The river offers incredible Brook and Brown trout fishing right outside your front door. If fishing isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other ways to enjoy the river, including swimming, kayaking, tubing, Petoskey stone hunting, and wildlife viewing.

We love dogs and are happy to welcome one dog per stay for an additional pet fee. If you are bringing a dog, it must be disclosed and the pet option selected when making your reservation.
