Disliked: Cleanliness
The cleanliness of this property showed a serious lack of attention to detail. One week before our stay, our original unit was changed due to a ceiling leak. The replacement unit was not comparable, and although it actually rents for less per night, we were not offered a reduced rate. After requesting a more comparable option, the host did accommodate that change.Unfortunately, the unit we ultimately stayed in was extremely dirty. The rooftop area—one of the main reasons we booked, especially with beautiful weather—was completely unusable due to lack of cleaning and appeared not to have been maintained in quite some time. Inside, dust was clearly visible on surfaces, including the cabinet beneath the TV, which looked only partially wiped down.We have stayed at many VRBO and rental properties and understand that issues can happen, but this felt more like a general lack of care and upkeep rather than an isolated oversight.We did receive a small refund after raising concerns, but it did not reflect the level of disruption to our stay. Small details also showed poor preparation.It is also worth noting that while an SUV such as an Expedition fits in the garage, there is very limited clearance and absolutely no room to walk around the vehicle.Overall, we were very disappointed and would not recommend this property
