Located within The Retreat at Waters Edge tiny home community, this home offers a wooded setting to relax and enjoy nature on the mountain. Enjoy both the water and land in the South Cumberland hills of Tennessee.

This home is great for a family or couples to not be cramped in a small space, but to enjoy this wonderful "Tiny Home" community on a beautiful lake setting. The one-of-a-kind interior features vaulted ceilings, and windows that flood the home with natural light. The house is completely furnished with extra perks like:

This spacious 1,200 sq foot house plus loft sleeps 8 and features one king bed, two queen beds and two twin beds, two bathrooms, electric fireplace, sleeping loft area, an open-concept well stocked kitchen and living area/game room.
Outside there is a 372 sq foot inviting screened in porch to lounge, play games in or dine.
If your muscles are tired from that hike or kayaking experience, just relax in the 6 person HOT TUB on the porch.
In the evening relax by the fire pit and enjoy some smores.
If the weather is raining or inclement, you can stay inside the spacious house and play in the gaming area which features a FOOSBALL TABLE, AIR HOCKEY TABLE, SHUFFLEBOARD TABLE, and VIDEO GAME.
Other Special features of this home include 3 TVs, conveniently installed both indoors and outdoors. Internet is available for streaming your favorite shows, a DVD player, board games, and a gas grill.

The area boasts incredible hiking trails, waterfalls, unique restaurants, and the stunning University of the South in Sewanee. Sweetens Golf Club is only 25 mi. Day trips to Nashville, Chattanooga & Atlanta.

95 Acre Calm Water Lake. Lake is walking distance from the house and there are public piers. You can kayak, canoe, paddle board, and fish on the lake. Please note that swimming on the lake is not allowed.

Great Retreat Stay for our Bookclub

We stayed at this cabin for a book club weekend getaway and had a lovely time! The space was cozy and perfect for our group. The mattresses were especially comfortable — we all slept really well. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked with the essentials, making it easy to cook meals for a larger group.The cabin is located in a quiet, beautiful community that was easy to get to from Nashville — a huge plus. It rained most of the weekend, so we didn’t explore the area as much as we’d hoped, but the screened-in porch was a perfect spot for brunch and relaxing.One small drawback was the limited seating in the living room — we wished there was more space for everyone to lounge together comfortably. Also, the floors could have used a better cleaning, as our sock bottoms were all brown after walking around.Overall, it was a great spot for a peaceful retreat, and we’d definitely consider coming back!

Beautiful property with amazing amenities. So many things to do we ran out of time! Beautiful kitchen which was fun to gather around and prepare meals. Only negative was having to bring the Kayaks down to the lake on the gravel road which was pretty rough. Good to know that there is a rear entrance/exit which is right by the property so you don't have to take the gravel road all the way to the back.

This house has everything & detailed instructions to help make sure you don’t spend all your time trying to figure things out. Everything down to the light switches were labeled. There is a house being built next door but no construction noise bothered us because it began after 8am and ended at a reasonable time. We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing Home!

Beautiful comfortable home with everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of indoor and outdoor games for kids and adults, a hot tub, and lots of outdoor seating. Perfect little mountain getaway!!!!

We loved everything about our stay here! We had 2 adults and 4 adult kids - more than enough room for all. The house was thoughtfully furnished with lots of table games, board games, hot tub, fire pit, grill, cookware etc. to keep you entertained. It’s located in the cutest little community on the lake so lots of hiking and other outdoor activities right outside your door. The owner was great about checking in to make sure we found it ok and everything was good. Would definitely stay here again!!

Rural getaway with all the amenities!

The property was located in a super cool campground-type subdivision with similar homes. While the surrounding area didn’t have many restaurants/activities other than hiking, the subdivision had lots of community areas and our hosts provided every amenity we could have possibly needed! We spent most of our time in the hot tub and by the fire, and would definitely stay here again!
