Maggies features an undercover magnesium pool. The very first time you jump into a MagnaPool you can feel the difference. The water has a gentle, silky feeling against your skin. There is little or no irritation to your eyes and your hair wont need washing to get rid of that chlorine smell or sticky salt feeling associated with chlorine and saltwater pools.



Maggies is located on the beautiful, sheltered north facing Horseshoe Bay beach which features watersport activities, cafes, restaurants, tavern, convenience stores and transport at your doorstep. This is the ultimate holiday spot to enjoy doing nothing or everything. Horseshoe Bay is a 3km long north facing beach renowned for its protected sparkling blue water, stunning winter sunsets, long beach walks, water sport activities and its cosmopolitan feel.

Spacious & Comfortable, great location

We stayed in No. 10 for 7 nights with our 17 month old and 3 year old. The standard of cleanliness was very low for a very expensive holiday rental. The floors were very gritty with sand, not sure if they were mopped/sweeped/vacuumed properly. We had to vacuum and sweep as we couldn't stand the grit sticking to our feet, even our kids were complaining! We could see dust sitting on the window sills on both bathrooms, it was highly visable and there was a dead fly on the side of the TV unit, closest to the sliding door. Toilets had urine and some faeces marks in bowl which I had to clean with dirty toilet brushes. Seriously, they need to be replaced or clean the toilet brushes in disinfectant. Stove top stained and dishwasher smelly (needs cleaning). Some dirty marks on walls and blinds. Few things missing which would have been nice that are usually available when we've stayed in higher end properties (even less expensive properties include these) no Spray and Wipe, which is essential to clean down table tops and kitchen surfaces, serviettes on kitchen table, boxes of tissues in bathrooms would have been nice, insect zapper for balcony, insect screen doors to balcony. Wifi worked 6 days out of 7, had to keep signing in every time I closed my ipad which was annoying. Some TV stations kept cutting out and mobile reception worked best on the balcony. Buses not that noisy. They switch off the engines when waiting, really can't hear them unless your on the balcony and they're not that noisy (only very hour). Our little ones enjoyed watching all the activity. Very modern and spacious apartment. Very comfortable lounges, dining chairs and beds. Wish they had outdoor cushions on the timber chairs. Lots of bathroom and beach towels. Need more bin liners and dishwashing detergent. Liquid soap would be better and more hygienic than little soap bars in bathrooms. Great location right opposite beach and plenty of great eateries and little grocery store just a minute stroll. Stairwells not lit up well, need to install sensor lighting. Would be better and easier to mark carparking per unit. Not sure if we'd stay there again as it's a lot of money for low level of cleanliness.

Modern and stylish

I loved the apartment ... The buses below weren't a problem.. the advantage was the beach view. Could do with some blinds in the lounge room near the tv. Horseshoe bay overall was good and quite... Magnetic island though is a dump.... Which surprises me as it was great many years ago.
