I chose Park Inn at 555 Park Inn, Markham because it was close to work and had a swimming pool. Unfortunately this hotel rents out their swimming pool out and conducts children swimming classes (non-guests). They use the emergency door of the facility allowing the parents and children to come in and out. Felt really uncomfortable and unsafe to be freely allowing people in and out like that. I stayed for a week and all three times they had parents and children (about 15-20 kids) and 2 instructors take over the entire facility. Unfortunate to have found this out after booking and coming here - no notice, no ads, no signage. Hotel staff was dismissive when it was brought up to their attention. Paying guest should never be going through this especially without letting guests know before hand.

The beds are so old, the hallway smells so bad, the stand of the bathroom vanity is broken, the iron and iron board were burned and so dirty..nothing meets the basic standards of a hotel. Horrible experience will never recommend to anyone or use it again.

The hotel smells like moldy, they have bleach stains all over the carpets, I was moved twice and both rooms had stains and lamp shades and walls. My second room had hair in the bed and makeup on the pillow from someone else. The wear and tear to the hotel problem comes from the fact that it’s used as a halfway house for refugees. I checked in and checked out 3 hours later. They refused to give me a refund until Expedia called. This is a 1 star motel don’t be fooled by the pictures.

The property is 30+years old. Our washroom was leaking , not too bad to impact living there, but it was wet the whole time. The bedsheet had some stains, it was cleaned, but still there were stains. The pool is available, but sometime it was rented to some swimming classes, so we could not access it whenever. However, the location is very convenient, close to highway 7. T

I highly do not recommend this hotel. I arrived and there was cops outside as i was unpacking my things to head in i was informed that there is drug busts at this hotel every week and that day there was an individual that drove up to the hotel with a gun. I asked the person at the counter about the cops and was told they just patrol the area sometimes. I gave them a chance and got my key as i entered the elevator is smelt as if some animal had died in there. I arrived at my floor and the hallway with carpet was absolutely disgusting, there was stains everywhere on the floor and bleached areas and it smelt awful. I get inside my room to find old napkins and wrappers under the bed when i did my check for bed bugs. There was dirt on all the carpet in the room. There was also sounds of banging in the room beside mine and people also getting their pleasure. Gross. I went back to the lobby to get a refund for the three nights i would stay there and the guy told me he couldnt do anything because his manager wasn't in, i asked him to contact the manager and he said he couldnt and that the manager would be in the next day at 10. I handed my card back in and left and found another hotel, i came back the next day for 10 to discuss things with the manager and was told from a lady that the manager wasnt going to be in till 1:00, after another attempt at 1:00 and fighting back and forth i got refunded for two of the three nights. Save your money dont go to this disgusting hotel.

Well when we arrived we couldn’t have a trolly for our luggage since they were full of boxes, the front desk did not know what to do with the boxes so we ended up carrying all ourselves but then we had changed rooms since the beds (the mattress) were very uncomfortable, the hotel smell musky and the carpets are not well vacuumed. The new room was better but the uncomfortable beds seem to be a constant. When we went to the pool, there was a swimming class of people that are not guests at the hotel. They left shortly after we arrived through a back door. The air conditioning is way too noisy, the tv had to be at almost max to understand what was being said. We found a couple of bugs ON our beds (the day we were leaving). (The little ones with the claws…) The staff other than the front desk wasnt friendly. . The pool was ok, the bottom of it was very worn out, we put on water shoes and then it was good, the water wasnt too cold and it did not have a lot of chemicals that hurt the eyes. Overall, yes its cheap and you can expect to get what you pay for
