Clayoquot Calm is located on 1 acre of private, peaceful, oceanfront property that overlooks the stunning views of Browning Passage in Clayoquot Sound. This custom designed 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, one level, spacious home easily accommodates families and groups who enjoy vacationing together and is accessible to those with mobility issues. Ideally located within walking distance (1km) from the village of Tofino and within 5km of world-renowned surfing beaches like Chesterman Beach, Cox Bay and Long Beach, Clayoquot Calm provides safe, easy access to either experience via the MUP (Multi Use Path) accessed right at the end of our driveway.

Whether strolling into town or biking to the beaches, Clayoquot Calm is sure to enhance an idyllic west coast experience.
From the instant you walk in the door, our uniquely designed home welcomes you with breath taking waterfront views of Browning Passage from the living room, dining room as well as the master bedroom. Once inside, the open floor plan leads you through the living room with a wood-burning fireplace into the gourmet style kitchen. Off the kitchen, through beautiful, double patina fir doors, you find a games room that offers a fully equipped pool table and a large indoor sauna completely finished in cedar.
To enjoy the awe inspiring views outdoors, step out the glass French doors, between the dining and living rooms, onto the large concrete patio. Once there, have a seat in a handmade cedar chair to take in the amazing view while you deep breathe the fresh west coast air.
From the covered portion of this extensive patio, a 5 person hot tub, easily accessed from the living room, or master bedroom and ensuite, offers "apres-surf" or evening relaxation -- yet another soothing, relaxing venue from which to drink in the intoxicating phenomena that is the west coast.
Once you experience the rejuvenating magic of this idyllic retreat that is Clayoquot Calm, two things are certain: you will want to extend your stay and you will definitely need to return!!

My family couldn’t have been more pleased with the home. It was spacious and the layout was perfect for the six of us. The view of Clayoquot Sound, especially at sunrise, was spectacular. The hot tub and sauna were a big hit, especially with the four who tried surfing for the first time.

Kitchen/ dining was a nice open area and well set up with appliances. The labels on the cupboard doors were very helpful. Beds were comfortable and was very nice to have 3 bathrooms. Hot tub was very clean and relaxing. Negatives; the ad indicates the house is beachfront. While this is fact, there is tall vegetation at the lawn edge which restricts the water view. As well, the trail access is rough and hazardous with multiple exposed roots. As a result, family elders were unable to access the beach. We were asked to strip down the bedding and to wash and dry a load of towels on our departure.. considering a cleaning fee had been paid in advance, I felt the request was unwarranted and it, frankly was disappointing.

We had a great stay here. The openess of the the kitchen, living room and dining area made a family get together perfect. Quiet location close to town but out of the busy'ness. The open wall of windows with the view to nature and the ocean brought the outside in.

Great location: quiet, sea views, walkable to a fish market, a charcuterie, a distillery, and a brewery. It is just a short drive to town and the harbor. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the supplies you will need for cooking or barbecuing. All of the rooms were clean and comfortable with lots of space to spread out. Eating on the patio in good weather with views of the ocean was a real treat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property in a very beautiful location The house has a few relatively minor flaws, for example the fridge is in need of repair, the light in the kitchen is not very bright, and soft closing toilet lids would be nice.Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay there very much and would certainly recommend it our friends.

Fantastic location for Tofino and Ukee

Can’t say enough positive things about this space. Outdoor patio is so great we never even used the pool table. Louise was very communicative. 30 min walk to Tofino, short drive to Ukee, and 5 min walk to Tofino brewing, Tofino distillery, and some other local locations. Path to the beach or can walk to Whitaker beach for sunsets. Super quiet and sound system is inside and out for hot tub or patio sitting.

A dream vacation getaway for the family

This was the first trip that my 70 yo parents, sister, brother-in-law, two young nephews, and I took together. This place was an absolute dream! Private location that was quiet and serene, with easy access to the shoreline. Spacious house that was clean and well-stocked.Loved that the kitchen cupboards and drawers were labelled, making navigation easy.Plenty of seating options available, with many options for entertainment.Comfortable rooms and beautiful views.And a hot tub!!Too many wonderful things to say about this place. Clearly, a lot of care and thought was put into this space.Thank you very much!! Our family will never forget this wonderful experience.
