I was given a room on the 47th floor with an excellent view. There are shops nearby, including Donki and an outlet mall, with a Lawson inside the actual hotel buillding. Easy access to the airport. Staff were professional. Property is a little tired but it is clean and the bed was comfortable.

This is a dated hotel but it's beautiful with huge room. The view was perfect. We love our stay here, just walking distance from the train station from Osaka. The outlet store is walking distance as well and they have free shuttle to Kansai Airport.

We loved our layover 1 night stay at Star gates hotel with free water for us was a super plus. The rooms are dated but they are super clean and huge for Japan room sizing. All 4 of us got a bed which was opposite of all our previous hotels. Best view of Japan and we will visit and state at star gates hotel again. Staff was amazing and we had them hold our luggage’s while we walk the local shopping mall.

Star gate is very convenient for short time travelling. Proximity to public transportation is excellent. However, the property looks dated and need an update

Hotel was nice, just double check when you book if you want a smoking room or not. I did not realize they offered smoking room. Also they only off airport transportation till 8:55am so if you have a later flight it will cost you about 500 yen to get from hotel to airport, it’s not a bad train ride though just 1 stop. Hotel is 3 mins from train station so very convenient, there is also a mall on the other side of train station if you wanted to walk around and get some food.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was very comfortable with a great view but the furnishings are dated. Bath tub drain was plugged but overall everything was very nice.

Best property to stay if landed in Kansai Airport late or having an early flgiht. Train station/bus station right next to it (Lawson inside station). Big shopping mall area accross the street. Rooms are spacious. Great staff as well.
