Its 10.00 pm an we have not gotten my room key. They didn't even ask if we might want a com breakfast or if we could get some off or room or points. I know things happen an they can't do anything about it but this was my birthday weekend an it's not going good when you have to have the staff let me in my room every time I leave. The first time we stayed it was great but not tonight.

I had 3 rooms, 2 rooms air conditioner would not turn off, very cold 1 room it wouldn't work well. 1 room facet in bathroom would only work on hot. The room phone did not work on all three rooms. So if you needed anything you had to go down to front desk. Told the front desk and they did nothing. Not happy with our stay.

Avoid!

Had to be scorted to our room everytime. Lied to on check in so we would not leave, they told us we would have our key in an hour or 2 and we never got a key . We did not feel our belongings were safe seeing how the staff was opening everyone's room.

I’m not one for leaving a rating either way but this one I felt warranted one.The phone in the room was not working. In order to report issues had to go to the front desk. Our room was warm and I reported it to the front desk. Our stay was over 2 nights and our unit was never checked. I also requested extra towels from the front desk that were never delivered. On the last night of our stay an employee attempted to enter our room with out knocking or identifying himself. The safety latch stopped him from entry and when I stepped into the hallway he walked away rudely without answering me. I went to the front desk to speak to a manager. There was no manage on duty. I left a message asking to be contacted in the morning. At 9am when checking out I again requested the manager contact me to discuss the issue(s) that had occurred. After calling multiple times and sending an email I was finally put through to the Assistant General Manager and made them aware of the incident.

Wished we would have stayed somewhere else.

The people at the desk were very nice and accommodating. The building is very old. No vents in the bathrooms so everything gets soaked. We moved rooms because the ceiling in the bathroom was constantly dripping. You can see the mildew in the walls. Sliding glass door was broken as well even though it doesn’t open and air was constantly blowing through it. It did have a great view of the bay though and close to downtown.

Any time they were in the area we always make sure and stay at this hotel. It’s always a great experience compared to others that we’ve tried in the past. They offer the best breakfast options, easiest parking, best bar downstairs for drinks, and overall the best rooms IMO.

I love the view in the lobby area and would come back and stay just for that view. It’s also very conveniently by places to eat and right on the bay. The hotel needs a little bit of TLC. There is carpet that is coming up and flooring looks old. Rooms are a little small and so are the beds.
