This is a hotel that has been and continues to be remodeled. It is a very nice option on the beach and in my opinion, nicer than the downtown hotels. I visited in the off season so keep in mind that I think it can get very busy and very loud during major spring and summer holidays.

The staff are all great, check in was easy, and the FD guy was on top of his game. Hotels nice, i didn't try their breakfast, it's a bit pricey, and i feel for the amount paid for the room, a basic breakfast should be provided free. Not crazy about the paid parking either to be honest. All in all a good stay. And Blackbeards across the parking lot has some good food for sure.

The staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. But they can only do so much. The beds are very high, and hard, difficult for a child or senior to navigate the height, the charging stations in the room (2) are inoperable, the lobby guest bathroom has 3 soap dispensers none work, and I was going to be charged again for a prepaid stay... the room is pleasant but there is no chairs to sit in comfortably. I have stayed there before, it had many more amenities. The room is very clean but the shower head is partially clogged and sprays. Some serious maintenance is needed.

Staff were courteous, bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. Beds and pillows were cozy and comfortable. Unit in the room worked well to accommodate a comfortable temperature in our room. Only complaint was shower didn’t maintain as hot of water we are used to but was good enough.
