Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!

Quirky room, but in a nice way. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Rod is a very good host. Just two points: we weren't able to get hot water from the taps, despite running them for several minutes, and we didn't want to keep them running as it would waste water. The hot tap on the bath didn't work at all. We got hot water by running the electric shower to the basin. There is a little step in the bathroom, which Rod did point out, but I still tripped on it 2 or 3 times. Maybe, mark the step with hazard warning tape. We would stay there again.
