Expansive and full of light, the interior of The Roller Coaster River Retreat boasts high ceilings, comfortable furnishings, modern amenities, and continued views. The house was spacious and the views of the river were lovely. The location is very near Busch Gardens which was very convenient. However, we did encounter several issues. First, I believe that the pictures were a few years old. The walls need a coat of paint and the sofa had a very large stain on it. There were "soft spots" on the balcony on the main floor. When we arrived there was broken glass and trash on the top balcony. While the posting advertises "kayaks", there was one and no lifejackets. Also missing was the fishing gear and board games. The air hockey game was broken in the game room. The toaster only worked if you held the button down. The kitchen was poorly stocked - 3 garbage bags (for 17 people for a week?), no dish liquid or sponges. The pots/pans were dirty and the Teflon scratched. The signage on the toilets that says "no condoms" in toilet - not very family friendly. We did contact Casago several times during our stay. The communication was delayed and scant. I told them I hate to leave bad reviews - so they gave me a "terrible" guest review. Very disappointing.
