Centrally located this is a perfect homebase to explore Tacoma and the greater Seattle area. One block from light rail, you can take the tram to downtown and Tacoma Dome. Very close to the freeway to explore Seattle, Puget Sound & Mount Rainier.

This triplex is a historic home built in 1905. We have taken care to preserve many of the original features of the building & update it with modern amenities for your comfort.

You'll be staying in Unit B, which has been thoughtfully designed as a relaxing retreat for vacationers & traveling professionals. It features hardwood floors, spacious bedrooms, high ceilings & a fenced backyard. This unit is on the top floor of the building.

Guests rave about our beds! Each bedroom has medium density, memory foam mattress, Smart TV, blinds & blackout curtains. Updated with central air conditioner for your comfort.

The light-filled, open concept living room includes a 58-inch Smart TV, electric fireplace & ceiling fan. The kitchen has everything you'll need including:
• Keurig, French press, classic drip & Chemex coffee makers.
• Microwave oven
• Electric kettle
• Air Fryer
• Full size refrigerator & oven
• Full set of dishes & cookware, including children's dishes
• Cordless vacuum.

This unit is on the second floor. It has shared access to the laundry and fully fenced backyard. Outdoor seating & a fire table are available for your enjoyment spring through fall months.

The bathroom has a combination rain shower and bath with a dual hot and cold-water faucet.

Ample street parking is available and free on the evenings and weekends. We will provide one (1), free daytime parking permit for guests. Additional permits are available for $1/weekday.
Our triplex home is a beautiful historic property, over 120 years old, offering a unique and charming stay. We have taken care to preserve and restore many of the original features of the building & update it modern amenities for your comfort. While most guests find their experience peaceful, you may occasionally hear sounds from fellow visitors due to the nature of the home. We appreciate your understanding as you enjoy the character and comfort of this special space.

Great Stay with Thoughtful Touches

We had a great stay at this home and really appreciated all the extra touches. The hosts truly thought of everything—plenty of toiletries, kitchen essentials, and even small conveniences like chopsticks, aluminum foil, an air fryer, and dog bowls. We were able to cook multiple meals without needing anything extra. It felt like a home away from home, making for a very comfortable week. The beds were also very comfortable, and we appreciated the USB power strips in the bedrooms and the provided hangers, which made it easy to settle in.The area was also very nice, with lots of neighbors out walking, running, or taking their pets for a stroll, which made for a welcoming and safe atmosphere. Communication with the host was excellent—she was quick to reply and even informed us promptly of a WiFi outage, keeping us updated along the way.As for areas of improvement, the home does show some natural wear and tear, as expected with an older house. The blinds were a bit dusty, and the floors creaked, but neither was a major issue. The backyard lighting could be better, especially for late-night pet outings. Additionally, the lights for the backyard and hallway leading to the outdoors are controlled from the first floor, so since we were staying upstairs, we weren’t able to adjust them when needed. The rooms also tended to get warm at night if the doors were closed, so we found it best to leave them open for better air circulation when using the heater. Lastly, the dryer required mult
