Mansfield's Getaway in Stowe offers a peaceful retreat with mountain views, blending tranquil forest surroundings with proximity to Stowe Village shops & restaurants (3 min drive) and the Mountain Resort (less than 15 min drive). The property features a private hot tub, decks, barbecue, a yard, open-concept living areas, 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a recreational room on three separate floors, providing a comfortable and authentic Vermont experience year-round for the entire family.


The space
Welcome to your home away from home in Stowe, the quintessential and year-round enchanting New England mountain town!

Outside features at Mansfield's Getaway include a private hot tub, expensive decks, a barbecue, front and back yards for an authentic and enjoyable experience of Vermont's nature all-year round.

Inside, three separate floors provide you with comfortable living quarters and/or quiet space for the entire family. On the main floor, you will find open-concept living areas with modern open kitchen & dining rooms as well as a cozy living room. Mansfield's Getaway features three bedrooms: on 2nd floor, a large master bedroom (with king bed and en-suite bath) and a second large bedroom with a queen bed and bunk bed sleeping (one full and one twin bed); on the lower finished level, a 3rd large bedroom (with a queen bed) and a TV/family/game room, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both adults and kids.

Mansfield’s Getaway set in an exceptional location with views over Stowe’s surrounding mountains from many rooms. Put time on pause in this tranquil property surrounded by forests while being only a 3 min drive away from Stowe’s village and all its shops and restaurants have to offer, and less than 15 min away from Stowe’s ski resort (also accessible from the free shuttle that conveniently stops down the street and brings you to the ski base area).

Come enjoy the private hot tub after a day of skiing, snowshoeing, skating in the Winter or hiking, mountain biking in the magic Fall season or wonderful Summer time. Note that if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay, we recommend that you pack flip flops, a beach towel and a bathrobe (not provided).

While quiet and peaceful, this location will give you plenty of convenient opportunities to enjoy the "Ski Capital of the East" in Wintertime offering premier skiing and snowboarding on Mount Mansfield and/or on several other close by mountains (Mad River, Smuggler's notch, Bolton, Jay peak). Spring brings melting snow and the first glimpses of green, perfect for quiet hikes and exploring the beginning of maple season. The lush Summers are a haven for outdoor adventurers, with opportunities for breathtaking hiking, scenic road and mountain biking, fishing, and kayaking, all complemented by scenic beauty. As the air crisps, Autumn transforms the landscape into a vibrant display of reds, oranges, and yellows which will make for a spectacular leaf-peeping trip and stay in Stowe. We have keyless entry. Check-in at Mansfield’s Getaway is simple and easy:

- Check-in time is after 3 pm.

- We have equipped the house with keypad locks providing convenient and independent access at the time of your choosing.

Please use the front entrance of the house which has a mudroom and coat hanger where you can leave your shoes and coats. Please, no shoes in the house.

Other things to note
Please note that the use of the hot tub requires review and signature of our Hot tub rules and liability waiver.

Regarding suitability of the house for families/children, we welcome families with children. However, please be aware that no specific arrangements have been made to make the house "child-safe" and that it is the guest responsibility to ensure safety of children at the property.
