Roaches View Barn consists of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and a dining table, a sitting room with a smart TV, DVD player, Wii and a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a double bed with TV, and a twin with TV, along with a ground-floor bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed side garden with lawn and patio, furniture, bike storage, and private parking for 3 cars. Sorry, this is a pet-free, smoke-free property. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Highchair, stairgate and travel cot available on request. Roaches View Barn is an inviting base for a Staffordshire escape. Note: There is a slight slope up to the garden, please take care. Note: There are a few steps to the sitting room
The Neighborhood:
The small hamlet of Waberthwaite is situated on the West Coast of Cumbria within the Lake District National Park, comprising of a scattering of cottages, farm dwellings and a traditional village pub. Waberthwaite enjoys an enviable position amidst some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain and is situated close to local beaches, coastal walks and many of the nearby conservation areas. The local skyline is dominated by the towering peaks of Scafell, Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell and nearby the stunning valleys of Eskdale and Dunnerdale provide breathtaking and ever-changing scenery to be enjoyed throughout the year. Local attractions include Muncaster Castle, a World Owl Centre and the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway, all of which provide wonderful and varied days out.
