This was a beautiful property with a lovely lounge area. The breakfast was fantastic. Their customer service in some areas with good in other They seemed untrained They gave us some wrong information. This hotel is about a 45 minute walk and a 15 minute subway to the centre of Stockholm, which was nice. The gym was fantastic. I would recommend.

Hotel is quite far from city center. It is relatively easy to walk to a bus stop or up to the train station however. I believe it took us about 25 mins to reach city center or historic area. Buffet breakfast is quite nice. You can also eat lunch and dinner at the restaurant. The gas station across the street is convenient for snacks, drinks, and small selection of medicines. Also across the street is a lovely park with a little hidden bar.

A very comfortable 4 night stay. Room very clean with comfortable beds. We paid extra to have breakfast which seemed a little on the expensive side, but provided plenty of options. Alternative breakfast options nearby were in short supply. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

A 4 star hotel, not bad with some gaps in service.

Front desk staff with the exception of a few could take customer service cues from housekeeping and restaurant staff who were always smiling and jovial. When extending my stay for several more days, morning of 3/8, the gentlemen in the grey suit with a beard (I didn’t get his name) at the front desk quibbled over getting two key cards, and generally seemed disgruntled and passive aggressive. Other than that, beds, wifi and general cleanliness of the hotel were great. I wish the gym were open, I didn’t see any active solution to repairing whatever damage occurred, just a passive solution.

Think before booking

Hotel is far from Stockholm central. The door lock works at times and does not at other times as they need to repair it. The rooms do not get cleaned in the morning so when you return to the room in the evening you have to ask to clean your room. The bathroom is old fashion. The beds are very uncomfortable. Staff is ok and hotel is overall clean.

Would definitely stay again

We stayed at the Marriott for one week on the occasion of the wedding of our son. Service was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Our room was clean comfortable and spacious containing everything that we need. Breakfast was excellent with an array of food catering for everyone’s taste. The only disappointment was that you had to pay extra if you wanted a fried egg. We had dinner in the restaurant on two occasions which was very good and reasonably priced for Stockholm. The staff were very good and attentive. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Hotel, I do travel a lot and I always look for comfort, cleanliness, this hotel is very clean, Big rooms, very kind staff, restaurant on site and very convenient to go to old town, metro takes less that 10 min. And station is only 5 min walk from hotel. I recommend this hotel for family trips or Bussniss.

The Kungsholmen location was great and close to the park…in walking distance to the city and close to the buses and subway systems. The staff were wonderful and friendly and the included breakfast was excellent! A fabulous place to stay!
