Very charming older property with some nice upgrades. Lovely property with patios and outdoor gathering spaces. Bathroom door did not close and needs to be rehung to align with door frame. Quality linens and towels. Love the retro refrigerator and microwave. Didn't interact with any staff so couldn't rate them good or bad. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was cozy and clean however the set up was not very comfortable. The a/c had to run most of the time and was very noisy. The television was very small and the volume didn’t get very high which made it difficult to hear over the a/c. The water took several minutes like about 10 to get warm for a shower but once it finally got warm it was comfortable.

This property deserves a star in the Michelin Green Book, for ‘worth a detour’. All kinds of Americana, including a bathroom door that hangs on rollers, nice headboard, fancy green glass-bowl-on-a-counter- type sink, Tuck-and-roll leather seat/storage box at the base of the bed. Outside has a wall mural, hanging petunias, flower garden, wooden fence, small gravel parking lot. There is a covered niche with a TV, table, and comfy chairs for easy socialization (wish I had one at home). (Wish I had time to use it, and people to use it with). As it was Sunday, the church across the street chimed a different old standard hymn on the hour, falling silent after eight PM. I almost expected Carl Sandburg or Grant Wood to be occupying one of the other rooms.

We enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but newly renovated. They could use a new bathroom door though as it would not shut tight. This sink was outside the bathroom. Shower was hot and ok pressure. Refrigerator was cold and has separate freezer so we could refreeze our ice packs. There was a very nice courtyard and sitting area but we couldn’t use because of the rain. Parking right out front but only four spots. There was a church bell/chimes that went off every hour from 6-8. Also a window air/heat but works well but just noisy. The walls were thin as there was a family next door any they were very loud. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Glad we stayed at Crest!

Quaint old motel. Rooms have been remodeled at some point. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Normally a Hilton guy, but really enjoyed staying here off the beaten path.

Okay Option for Sterling

Trash not emptied, sink not cleaned - this was rectified within 10 minutes of arriving, but still gross to have used tampons in the trash. Two doors to bedroom and was not advised to not deadbolt the lock or it would lock me out - as the other door with a key pad didn’t work. I was let back into my room within 10 minutes but the property manager was definitely not friendly. She did provide me with a set of plastic silverware - as the kitchenette does not have anything.
