Impressive Staff!

Both my husband and I were incredibly impressed by the staff at this hotel. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The shuttle running from the hotel to the mountain was super convenient and reliable. And the shuttle driver was so nice.

Clean, Convenient ski storage, shuttle to and from mountain; Coffee/tea in the lobby; Indoor hot tub didn't work, water was cold - reported it on Sunday, as of Tuesday it still didn't work; Heater in the room was either malfunctioning or just was of poor quality - kept turning on and off every 2 min. through the night, made it difficult to sleep with that noise.

things that did not work/have *indoor hot tub *our TV in our room, had them come to fix, they left it on and then we could not turn it off. Had to unplug so we could go to sleep *the door leading out to the outdoor hot tub nearest our room, our cards would not unlock it, had to walk all the way around to the pool and go out that way and walk thru snow barefooted *the towel holders for the hot tub rarely had towels in it, had to go to the front desk to get them, that same towel rack is blocking the sign that shows you the way to the pool/hot tub *no complimentary water bottles in our room, most high dollar hotels do this For a high dollar a night hotel we found these things unacceptable. The p.m. man that checked us in seemed very unaffected by our concerns. The morning man was very accommodating and helpful. We did appreciate that he took off $150 per night off our stay.

Wonderful base for a skier on a budget. Very clean, extra friendly staff, reliable shuttle to the slopes. Full restaurant and bar is a great add when it’s too snowy to think about driving to dinner. Just a few minutes into the heart of town. Would stay again!

The hotel room was clean and nice. Great hot water for a nice shower after a cold but sunny day on the slopes. Everything about the place was nice. Harison's restaurant was "ok." I ordered an omelette one morning with "breakfast potatoes." The breakfast potatoes were - seriously - tater tots. Aside from that, the hotel shuttle to the slopes was great. We didn't get any maid service the whole five days we were there. Once they came and I told them to wait a bit. They never came back. The next day, the same thing. But we went to pick up new towels ourselves so it was fine. Overall, because we had a rental car, getting to town was easy (there is a city bus that we could have taken to town, which is about 2.5 miles away) but our car provided ore flexibility. Finally, the hotel is neither in town or at the ski resort, but it's a perfectly fine location with decent facilities (I used the gym three times...it was decent for a hotel). I'd return to this hotel again, as the price was right compared to so many other places in the area.

The room was better than expected, it was clean and nice and it had a balcony. The front desk gal was very friendly. We were early and our room was ready so we got in early.
