The property was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. Our favorite was the hot tub!! We had so much fun and would stay there again. I would like to have known in the checkout what we were supposed to do with our trash, as I would have taken it out prior to leaving. The owner put together a book of available shops, hikes and restaurants in the local area, which was VERY helpful given Steamboat was lacking in snow at the time we visited.

This is our second stay at Blackhawk and loved it…access to the mountain is super easy, the space is great and accommodated our group of 7 adults. I would caution that this particular property is managed by a Vacasa property that is confusing to get hold of if there is a problem…they don’t advertise a local number, but there is one! Also, you need to rent a car because the shuttles nearby are only town buses.

Very nice and convenient.
Very nice and well equipped property. Boot and glove warmer in garage with automatic on/off was much appreciated. Easy walk to the gondolas with snow board boots, if skiing you can rent a locker and keep your boots near the gondola, because walk would be hard with ski boots. We did not try to use a shuttle. Hot tub on 4th floor was extremely nice and easy to use. Also a nice surprise to find TV's in two of the bedrooms with access to all channels. If your looking to go into town for dinners, I would recommend a car. No problem parking in the town in the evenings. Only complaint was pulling out of the property on to the main road, it was impossible to see in anyone was coming due to the snow pilled up along the road. Even with a regular height SUV, You had to inch out and just pray that someone coming from the left would see you and stop before hitting you. Overall, very pleased and would stay again.

A beautiful house in a great location. Well decorated and well stocked, I would recommend staying here for sure. My only issue is that a house as nice (and pricey) as this should have air conditioning. We had a hot weekend during our stay, and AC would have made it more pleasant.

The house was just as expected, location was great and everything about the check-in/check-out was very simple. It was the perfect space for multiple families to be able to spread out and have their own space, but gather and enjoy each other's company in the common spaces.
I do have to laugh because I had read all of the reviews about the HOA encounters and we did have a few visits from the same neighbor for really ridiculous things like trying to find the recycling. It did not bother us, we just had a good chuckle, because she obviously just has too much time on her hands!

Exceptional Property & Location
We have been to Steamboat many times and this location is exceptional. Walking distance to the mountain plus all the conveniences of grocery and restaurants. The heated garage with boot storage (and the wall mural of the mountain/trail map -- love). The architectural design of the property can't be captured in the photos. The hot tub with fireplace was used every day. Definitely a place we would stay again.
Vacasa is the management company and it's difficult in communication thru VRBO. We have a large group with luggage and not being able to check in until 4pm or have an option to at least drop luggage (on Super Bowl Sunday) was a tough one. We have always had management/owners that could assist with this simple request in the past. We didn't receive any check in instructions and I had to find where were to pick up keys by downloading another app and searching for details as I couldn't get a response to messages. We use Vacassa for a rental home we own and we know this isn't always typical. Just a hassle.
We would definitely come back and stay at this property. The best ski week -- sun & fresh powder ! Thank you.

Amazing experience!
Best rental property we have stayed in Colorado. The house accommodated our large group with ease and the amenities were top notch. Quick bike ride to downtown and walk to the resort. Our 3 days gateway felt like a week long vacation. Highly recommend!
