Very disappointing experience!!!
The Hotel is ok and comfortable. It is older but clean. The issue we had was we checked out on Monday the 12th of Feb. on the 13th of Feb. a front desk worker left a message on my cell phone that we needed to call the Hotel. Me and my husband went over everything thinking that maybe we left something. Who calls someone’s phone at 10:20 PM. Thankfully it was on silent. The next day at lunch I call the hotel and the lady answers that left the message. She claims that we stayed until Tuesday the 13th because we asked for another day. I said to her why would you call someone that late. She said that’s when I was working but yet it’s noon and I am speaking with her. Unbelievable and so unprofessional. I told her that we checked out on the 12th and they seen us check out at the front desk and the maid was waiting to get into the room. Seems like they have some shady stuff going on there. Luckily we go thru Hotels.com so they could not go on our card and take out more money. We travel a lot and have never had this happen. Will never stay again and the parking fee is just another way for them to make more money. I will be speaking to someone at Hotels.com as I think they need to be aware of this also. Do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else.

This place was amazing, it was clean, and convenient, it’s also adorable considering the grounds and space they have. A very quaint but clean pool and hot tub, clean check in waiting area, rooms are very clean and ocean side rooms are really great to sun on the balcony during the day. Overall for the price you CANNOT beat this place. The parking fee was a bit of a surprise but I booked on expedia so it’s more their fault for not mentioning it. My only is issue was the one girl at the front desk was incredibly incompetent, and the hot tub was a bit cold. I get it, good help is hard to find. The grounds are very clean and cute though and it’s pet friendly! I had room for my dogs crate and I felt very safe leaving her there. I even left the slider open so she could relax and have sun while we went out. Overall from an avid vacationer, 8/10 for price, cleanliness and comfort considering it’s a small resort.

Gulf Blvd is between resort & public beach. I was concerned about traffic noise but didn't notice it. The SCBT stops everywhere easy to get around w/o a car. It takes you from St Petes to Clearwater. You can even transfer to go up to Tarpon Springs. The resort is a little older but not bad. Beds/pillows comfy. Breakfast was just some cold cereals & coffee, no tea. Pool water was on the cool side but sparkling. Was told hot tub very warm but it looked a little green for me. Dunkin Donuts, Waffle House right next door & ice cream shop too! Charged for parking car & you had to have a "towel card" for the beach towels you borrowed. We weren't supposed to have our room cleaned everyday but housekeeping came everyday 1 day they only made 1 bed & didn't sweep the floor, not sure what that was about. There is no access to the rooftop bar ($8/beer) after it closes. Would've been nice to sit there when it finally stopped raining or in the morning. Not much to do if raining-it rained all weekend for us. Trolly takes you to Johns Pass-lots of shopping & food. Sweet Sage Cafe a WONDERFUL breakfast/brunch place. Go early! They are only open til 1 or 2 p.m. But ooohhh so good! Britts pizza is close, very good as well. The beach is very clean. Beach view is so so. The beach is very wide so even w/o the taller hotels across the street, you wouldn't see a whole lot of the water. Overall, I would most likely stay here again. Staff was friendly.
