Great place for families with small children; the heated pool saved us as temps were a bit too cool for swimming in the surf. However, do bring your “white noise” machines as both bedrooms are adjacent to an atrium that became noisy in the early morning. This was my first beach trip in lodging without an ocean view but the bayside park just across the street afforded bay views from the street-facing balcony. The locked gates to the pool, beach, exterior doors, and security coded elevators were a bit of a pain (and seemed a bit over the top for this relatively quiet area) but our host responded promptly to address a non-working code for the pool gate. We found the condo to be well equipped for 4 adults and 2 toddlers, and we were thankful for a lack of fragile decor and knickknacks that can be nerve wracking with little kids. We found the unit to be fairly clean (until we had to look under furniture for small parts from kids toys ), and all of the dishes and glassware needed hand washing before being used (all seemed to have a cloudy film that could have been the fault of the dishwasher or dishwasher detergent?). We also found the kitchen to be fairly well equipped, saving a lack of teaspoons. The mattress in the master bedroom was horrible, we both woke with aching backs. The 2 double beds in the 2nd bedroom had very firm mattresses. All in all I felt the unit was a good value for the price and we will visit Indian Shores Beach again sometime in the future.
