My entire stay at was horrible this is the first hotel i stayed at that didnt treat guest that are celebrating their birthday nice the 1st room they place me in was gloomy and dark, the second room had dirty floors and mold all over the bathroom any other hotel would do a upgrade free lf charge. They changed me. They are money grabber. Theh ruin my birthday i am going to be escalating all my concerns to cooperate i even asked for 30min late check and theh refused me never have i dealt with such poor management. Staff trying to hit on the guest like respect people space. I would like to thank Miguela and Terrell for the best they did especially Miguela. Everyone else from management to front desk was awful. Never again.

The hotel was ok. It’s not near anything, most places requires taxi. Hotel check in staff (Zion, Alicia, & Chantelle) very friendly, kind and attentive. The room was nice… Serval bars on the property Raquel was an amazing evening server. The onsite restaurants was ok. The regular buffet was blah. The buffet needs more choices, servers wasn’t attentive, and certain things were limited unless you upgraded to Diamond Club .. Other staff that made the trip welcoming Lorenzo, Lawrence, and a few others don’t remember all of their names . Oshan the driver was the best took me to town and the other events and waited on me. Very patient and kind. Over all on a scale 1-10 ( 7)

Upgrading to the Diamond Club is a waste of money. They sell a luxe experience and fall short. The food is mediocre. The entertainment is boring and attention to details is missing. You're left asking and waiting for things. The property is a ghost town by 11pm. The experience is more like a geriatric cruise than an adults only luxury getaway. We ended up trying to make the best of it and accepting the half attempts of meeting expectations. Also there's very little cultural representation. Overall I won't be back, would not recommend and returned from vacation feeling robbed of my hard earned money and what was supposed to be a luxurious good time.

Our stay at Royalton Chic Antigua included some positive aspects, but overall, the experience did not reflect the value of what we paid. Check-In: The check-in process was unusually slow. Despite paying for premium accommodations, we waited in the lobby for several hours before receiving our rooms. While the staff provided welcome drinks and checked in on us during that time, the delay was excessive for a resort in this price range. Room Access: On the day of checkout, our wristbands were deactivated before the 12 PM checkout time. We returned from the pool at 11:30 AM and were unable to access our rooms. It took multiple trips to the front desk to resolve the issue, which was inconvenient. Housekeeping: Housekeeping services were minimal. Over the course of three days, the sheets appeared not to be changed—only the bed remade. This fell short of standard expectations for a high-cost resort. Dining: The food was underwhelming. One evening, the Haven Grill ran out of food. Breakfast mainly consisted of continental items and pork, with turkey bacon available only by request and not prepared in advance, which led to long wait times. Drinks: The drink service was the most consistent part of the stay and met expectations. Diamond Club: Several members of our group had Diamond Club access, but the upgrade did not deliver the promised experience. Communication around included services and vouchers was unclear, and butler support was unreliable.

Diamond Club "pool bar" was practically closed. Had to get out of the pool most of the time to get a drink when the bartender actually was there. They had staffing issues and bartenders were either late or didn't show up at all so they had to shift people around. Diamond club upgrade was a complete waste of money. I received nothing more than anyone else in the resort and again the diamond club pool was hardly even staffed and had to get drinks from the lobby!

Over all the property was good. The service was slow at times and they ran out of some of the liquor. Steakhouse was great and it was not hard to get a reservation. The pool experience and the ocean was awesome. the staff was friendly but they ran out of the good food like jerk, chicken, and oxtail. Transportation to your excursion was on point.

Overall best well rounded stay I've had in my 7 trips to the Caribbean. Stayed Diamond Club and was able to get into every restaurant while there for my 5 night stay. Typically with Royaltons, you cant get in the first day and have to settle for dinner at the buffet. The butler service came through and made it happen which was great. The view from the room was great and the room was nice. Only difference from other Royaltons was no liqour cabinet in the room, but that doesnt matter. If you do drink alcohol, they did provide a solid selection for Diamond Club. English Harbour is my favorite rum and they did have it at the resort. You do get one free dinner at their exclusive restaurant which was awesome. Food was good overall and enjoyable. Entertainment was good. Standard things for anyone that stayed with Royalton. Encouraged participation but not pushy which is perfect. Only left the resort once to play poker at Boardwalk Casino. Others said excursions are good but just stayed in. Would go again and was definitely worth it.

Très bel hôtel, par contre je pouvais entendre le téléviseur de la chambre voisine, jour et nuit. Même chose pour le spectacle. Sinon, tout le reste était parfait.

Our stay at the Royalton Chic was truly relaxing. Although not perfect the staff did their best to provide excellence. The hard work of the staff was a breath of fresh air. Especially if you're looking for a get away from the noise that life presents us. I would return back to this resort.

I usually research a resort thoroughly before booking but this trip was planned by someone else as their birthday trip. Pros: the beach water is amazingly clear and beautiful. The resort is not crowded. The butlers in the Diamond Club do what they can for you, but they work with what they have. The massages at the Spa were amazing. Gelato was tasty. Shirley Height is a must-do tour. That will be the best food you will get during your stay. Cons: This is not a friendly country. You will not get warm greetings and smiles. The resort food is absolutely horrible. No exaggeration. Imagine paying $7K and having to order room service for a burger or go to the small buffet for pizza because the food was just bad. I don’t know how many times I heard “oh we are out of that” or “we don’t have that right now” or “we are waiting for our stock”. And that was with food, liquor/drinks, replenishment of chips in our room, reservation choices…almost everything. The pool tiles were coming off under our feet. The highest category of rooms were mediocre. Beds are hard. The hydrotherapy pools at the Spa smelled rancid when we turned on the jets…had to get out. Definitely an infection waiting to happen (showering is optional). Most restaurants are open air only or the a/c was broken making it open air seating. Pool DJ doesn’t know how to read the room. Shows were mediocre. Save your money. Trip was memorable because of who we are, not where we went.

Best food item…saltfish and Bake. No oxtails…no patties.
