The only thing we didn’t really like was that no one was here. The check in was contactless, which was fine. There was a lock box with the key in it and we were able to get it ok but we just aren’t used to no one being around in case we needed anything. Also, the ice machine was out of order. The room was great though! Very nice!

I was a little apprehensive as the property seemed to be a little older. The manager texted me to let me know that they had my room cleaned early and how to pick up my key. She personally met me and was very pleasant as she gave me a thorough orientation of the property. I told her that I was impressed with the reviews for being an older property and she proudly shared the hard work that was put in to get the recognition. After entering the room, I always pull back bedding and inspect bathrooms and floors for cleanliness. I was pleased to find that all aspects of the room were spotless! The furnishings were recently upgraded and the room was pleasant. The only downside was that the room heater was a little inconsistent with the operation, but kept the room adequately warm. The rooms at the Chalet were half the price of the other available hotels in St. George, but were every bit as comfortable as any of the branded properties that I have previously stayed in. I highly recommend The Chalet.

Loved having a kitchenette but it wasn't furnished with any dishes or pans, etc. Probably because there isn't a dishwasher. Still a great place to stay and super convenient right off the freeway. On a busy street but it was really quiet. They've done a great job with soundproofing.

Good place for the price

Good place to stay. We never met any of the staff but the room was clean. Bed wasn’t the greatest and our tv didn’t work therefore only 4 stars

Suspicious

The rooms are not as pictured, they may have a room that was updated but the two rooms we had were not what was shown. The Internet did not work and when I set up a starlink, the guy working said he did not like those things and we had to put it away. We had a sheriff come and help us with some paperwork and the same guy got very agitated and nervous and they literally kicked us out of the hotel because they didn’t like law enforcement on premises… suspicious. Even though we explained that there was nothing wrong, they insisted we leave. They didn’t want to give us a refund for that night but I insisted that they do or I’d call that sheriff back. They ultimately did refund the appropriate amount. I will never patronize that hotel ever again.
