A lovely hotel in peaceful surrounds. Room was comfortable and well appointed, however had quite poor noise insulation from other rooms and the corridor. Spa was relaxing and modern. Breakfast very tasty with a good range of options.

We arrived at 4.15pm to find our room wasn’t ready so they changed it to a room that was made up. At 7.00am when we wanted to go to the swimming pool we realised we only had 1 robe and no slippers. Then when I went for a shower we found we only had 1 bath towel and I hand towel. Also it would have been nice to have been told that going to the spa involved a walk outside. The shower gel in our room was empty.

Beautiful and spacious room, decor on point and really lovely. The rest of the hotel is in need of a bit of updating, with some wallpaper missing from the wall, scuffs here and there etc. The spa has the potential to be really nice. The pool is great but the sauna was out of service (I understand from another guest that this had been the case for at least a couple of weeks) and the steam room had no steam! The jacuzzi was borderline cool… can’t comment on the spa treatments as I didn’t have any. The restaurant was great - had dinner one night which was superb. The breakfast was slightly limited but very tasty.

Wife went to use bath towel for first time and found it stained and ripped. The following were out of order: sauna, costume dryer, lift in spa area. Steam room was not working properly. Bed lights in the room flickered on and off. Balcony chairs were damaged. Stains in room carpet - looked like it had never been steam cleaned. No lift to floor where room was situated. There is no lighting on road entrance to hotel.
