Not great

Lots of stairs to property. Very small room. No where to put a suitcase. Room needed repairs. Patched paint on walls, baseboards falling off, shower didn’t work properly, cracked drywall! There was a kettle two cups but nothing to make coffee or tea. Think this accommodation is more for young people who want to party in the summer therefore the property reflects it. This property is by no means luxury as the name suggests! Positive note you are on the water and the manager was wonderful! He found us a room at one of the property owners other locations closer to the old city in Split.

We have just returned from 4 nights staying here, and had a fantastic break. It was important to us to have an outdoor space where we could relax before heading out each day to explore the area. We booked a room with terrace and hot tub which worked perfectly for us. The room was adequately equipped, we could suggest having a hook somewhere to hang our coats/jackets but other than that it had everything we needed. The hosts at the property were so welcoming and helpful, and always on hand if you needed anything. The beds were comfortable, we slept well. The accommodation is in a great area, where you can walk along the coast and into the old town/Riva with ease.

Pls be aware to not stay at this place. There is nothing luxury abt it. We walked in and checked out in 5 min. Its right next to a cocktail bar which makes it extremely unsafe with kids. The guy operating the place is the rudest human I’ve ever come across.

Our experience was dismal! Based on what's advertised it's not reality! We entered the apartment and were greeted with a stench! After consulting with the owner he flat out denied it and responded with 'if you would like to leave feel free'! This was after pointing out that other people had posted about this. The area was noisy as it's a party area that's 24/7. They claim that the rooms are sound proof - this is not true! We were woken at all hours by party goers and people entering the property! Our room was positioned near the external staircase so we couldn't have our window open due to privacy. The hot water did not work! Freezing showers! Heated floors as advertised were not heated! The fridge was barely cool! Teacups and kettle were provided but no tea or coffee! Unfortunately we did not have a great experience due to location and accommodation.

We stayed early April before the summer season started. Very lovely area, not busy, and able to hear and see the ocean. Small coffee shop nearby, and easy walking distance to the old town (approx 15-20 walk). Imagine in the summer season it may be a little more boisterous in the area, as there are a few bars and clubs under the property. But for our needs was perfect. Mya, was lovely, and always generous with her time to share information about the area.

Loved the communication and helpfulness of staff. Very cute and clean. However, there was an overwhelming smell of cat spray/urine in all the rooms coming through the vent ducts.

The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from the dock and main part of town. Tucked away in a shopping/dining area. It is a hidden gem! Decor was great, very clean, staff was super friendly and accommodating. Price was very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend.

Payed extra for private hot tub. Tub was not working and was not fixed during our three night stay. No coffee/tea/hot water. No table or night stand. Good location.

The toilet sprayed all over the floor when flushing making it slippery in the bathroom. The property was extremely loud at night. There was no control by the hotel of who was coming and going all night at the hotel. Every time the front door opened it caused our door to slam. I will never stay in that location again. It was an awful experience, none of us slept. For the price of the hotel room, extremely disappointing.

The location was perfect, just outside split city center with a lovely beach 5 minutes walk away. Ivan was the person that helped us check in and he went the extra mile to make sure we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. I would strongly recommend Via Mare Luxury Rooms to anyone wanting to visit split and the surrounding area.

What a gem in split found!!. The location is great, you can not get closer to the beach. The spectacular views from the room with its massive windows!. Modern decor in the room & bathroom. The cafes are just below, so easy to get a drink & food. We walked to old town only 15min away. The staff are amazing at Via Mare!. Can not talk highly enough of them. The cleaners care & make a great effort. The management was there & had a lovely chat about the area. Thank you again for a great stay. Would stay here again.

Really disappointed with our stay. Booked a premium room for two nights to stay with the outside terrace and hot tub outside. Please if this is your reason for booking, save your money and look elsewhere. Hot tubs were freezing and all had error codes (there was no one else staying so they said we could try the others) all had heating malfunctions of which they lied to hotels.com after numerous messages between myself and the hotel. Massive waste of my time and money. Save yourself a decent amount of money by booking a hotel in the old town as there’s lots of charming historical bars and restaurants there. Area is quite run down and above a club so I’m glad we weren’t there on a weekend. They also said they would change the PIN number for entrance but my message for this was ignored and used a code that is predictable.
