Great location and surprisingly quiet rooms given you’re right in the middle of all the action. Booking on Expedia and selecting pay at property only to find out when we arrived that the property only took cash resulted in substantial fees from having to take money out of a bank machine. This was a disappointment

Be prepared for stairs (3 flights). If cne you’re over that it’s a wonderful guest room ( they have 3 rooms). Malena and her husband were super hospitable - Malena offering to let me go to the roof and drink her homemade lemonade. Her husband graciously assisted carrying my medium sized luggage at check in and check out (7am check out even). Location is recessed but no worries once you get to your rooom.

Had wonderful stay at the Malena Palace. Room was large, brand new, and spotless. Location is perfect, in the middle of everything. And the hostess Malena was so friendly and very helpful. We would stay again !! Just a tip, when you get to the door to the apartments (small sign that says Malena Palace), ring the doorbell and Malena will open the door and greet you and take you to your apartment.

This was a perfect place to stay for our short visit to Split. The room was spacious, spotless and ideally located rfor the old town of Split. Maelna (our host) was brilliant, recommending places to go and things to do. I would recommend this place

Convenient lovely smaller hotel in a very walkable and safe area that is itself the heart of Split. The hostess was gracious and shared her knowledge of the area as well as some useful tips on what to see, where to find good restaurants etc. the hotel room was bright, clean and nicely decorated and came with air conditioning which was most welcome.

Split

Come and say hi to Malena and Milan, the apartments are smack bang in the middle of old Split. Sit on the terrace in the evening and just look at the church. Ask Malena for her beautiful lemonade drink. Everything you want in Split is literally a stone throw from the apartments. The apartments are beautifully clean and tidy and there is tea coffee available and if you need it Malena can help with washing. You won't be disappointed

Marlena palace was a fantastic place to stay. My husband and I were there for two nights before a cruise and were very happy with our stay. It’s a little tricky to find- through the posidion restaurant side alley and then up the stairs- but everything in split is tricky to find :). Only three rooms at this hotel, big rooms and clean, great air conditioning, rooftop patio. Right in the Center of of the walled city. I highly recommend staying there.

Malena is super nice and very helpful. Her place is comfortable and clean, inside the palace walls with a great view from the small rooftop terrace. A great deal for the price. We'll be coming back for sure.

Amazing stay in the heart of Split

Malena Palace is the perfect stay in Split. It is located inside the Diocletian Palance, 2 min walk from the Peristil (the palace square) and I had a view of the Saint Domnius Bell Tower from our window. There is also a small terrace with a better view. The room was sparkling clean and we were greeted with homemade lemonade. Also before the checkout, we were offered apples. Best accommodation in Split 100% We stayed there for 2 nights and could not have ask for more.
