The location was great, however a souvenir shop was built so close it blocks the view of the beach. Great beach to walk. Several fun restaurants in walking distance with good food. We stayed in sunset. The room is very small but the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean except the floor turned our bare feet dirty.

Staff was very nice. Pictures of rooms on 3rd party reservation app did not match what the rooms currently look like. Rooms were outdated, lacked furnishings, remotes tonics did not work, dIRECTV had to be reset on both living room and bedroom TVs Lights out in hallways, closets. Most restaurants on the island closed during time of visit for repairs.

Wheezy stay

The room smelled of mildew and bleach. We only stayed a night, but we both coughed and sneezed all night. The toilet is ready to fall over it rocks so bad. The shower is full of mold and mildew. Just all around not good.

Cozy place that could use some improvements.

My stay was good. I have 2 major complaints about the hotel itself. 1. The lights on the deck are on all night and the curtains are worthless for keeping the light out. It was like my room was fully lit all night long. 2. There is no Ac control on the room. Luckily it was February and it was cool outside so I could leave the window open. I loved the coffee bar with the hot chocolate. It’s located perfectly so that is o oh a few minutes walk to multiple restaurants and the beach. The mattress was severely used and could use a replacement.

Return your keys

Reminder they give a physical key which you must remember to return if you leave before 8:00 AM and there isn’t anyone at the desk. They were very nice about our taking the keys by mistake, we overnighted them back to the hotel. The staff is very nice. The building needs some work, it was clean but updates and repairs are needed.

A classic beach hotel that is unique to the Forgotten Coast that it is. Don't expect a posh hotel. It is lovely with its individual rooms and furnishings like the island itself! It's comfortable, located near everything, and expect a good night's sleep!

The only good thing to say about this place is the location. Very central and good parking opportunities. Beside that we had our worst holiday experience here. The staff at the front desk was unfriendly and not helpful. Only referring to the "owner" who is not present at the moment. The prices are way to high for what you get. If you consider to go here, note that is just a motel kind of place, and not even a good one. Hence, the value for money is terrible. The mattress was weak and old and the heater / AC cannot be controlled individually for the room, but only by the motel staff for all rooms together (if they'd know where and how). The bathtub has no stopper and asking the front desk, they are aware of it, but also don't have a spare. First thing we found bugs on the linen under the blanket and then also two roaches (just on the first evening we stayed there before to leave next morning). All in all a very disappointing experience, especially for the money they charge, even during off-season.
