The hotel is excellent. The breakfast is great. Served in a lovely part of the hotel. My only criticism is that we were left without any toilet roll in the bathroom and no tea coffee or Milk and the bed was not made and on days it was was not to a hotel standard. The hotel room was not done to the same standard that we had on a previous stay. The receptionist was very helpful and soon rectified this and made a note of it for the following day. Check in was smooth and the pre- check in was great and saved time.

Here as a wedding guest. Staff were excellent, very good sized room with all needs catered for. I found bed very comfortable although not for those who prefer it softer. Only fault was we had an iron but no board. I coped. Happy guest

Disappointing from the start, when you book a hotel because it advertised it has EV chargers they need to work, had to drive to a local supermarket to charge up. Don’t be fooled by the main picture, it’s a typical corporate apartments by the side of the manor. The entrance door didn’t close properly so rattled all night meant the noisy road can be heard from inside the room. The deliveries started at 7am so don’t expect a lot of sleep either. Breakfast was acceptable and the bed was comfortable if you like a very soft mattress

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Loved the Manor House/main building, which has an interesting and quirky history, dating back to the 1600s. Rooms are basic, a bit dated and located separately from the main building - now a conference centre - and are a complete contrast to the lovely 17th century features of the manor. Room was also quite hot as there is no air conditioning. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Check in was very quick. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine overlooking the grounds. It was perfect for a one night stay to avoid the hassle and expense of parking in nearby Winchester, where we were heading the next day. Would stay again.

Encouraging adults and children to share beds

Apparently they think it is normal to encourage adults to share beds with children. Booked for an adult and child and a double room comes up so book it. First time they put a folding bed in the room, and next time the refuse demanding up upgrade fee. Don’t offer the room then if you are expecting adults to share you children in the same bed!

This is one of the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at . The pillow cases were dirty, the room has no air con and the staff is incredibly rude. We paid £189 for a room that is not fit for anything . Not sure how it remains open tbh

Nice place

Very nice place, but we expected to sleep in the manor and we were in one of the chalets. It was fine. The bathroom had dead mosquitoes stuck to the wall but other than that it was clean. Breakfast lacked some love. Also ordering drinks at the bar at night wasn’t easy. Rather a long wait and not everything on tap was available. But overall we enjoyed it. It just seems to have so much untapped potential which could be easily fixed!
