This is a smaller unit and although it does sleeps 4 with the added bunk beds, I think it is best for a couple only, or a family with young children. You can see the beach if you stand outside on the patio, which is exactly as shown in the pictures. We had great weather so we were on the beach all day. If it was rainy, one might miss being able to see the beach while sitting inside the unit. It is nicely decorated, updated and the furniture is comfortable. Some will find the bathroom small, but after being in Europe with most bathrooms this size, we didn’t mind. I appreciated the black out curtains for sleeping. There was plenty of hot water and a water filter system so you have great tasting water. The pool is on the west side of the building which means it remains in the sunshine in the afternoon, (beach side pools are in the shade in the afternoon.). Off street parking is really nice to have. Very easy access to the beach from the patio. This is next to Wanna Wanna inn and restaurant where you can order typical bar food, generous portion sizes, good tasting. As this was a last minute decision to go to the beach for a few days, this met our needs.

I had a wonderful stay here at The Spit X Island. The room was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. The location is beautiful and perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Everything was well taken care of, and it truly felt like a great place to unwind and enjoy the island.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and pleasant stay. I would definitely love to come back again!

Location was great and it was so nice to walk out to the beach. The condo was very clean. Pool and hot tub were clean and maintained well. When we arrived, we noticed there was broken tile in the kitchen floor and notified the host. She responded quickly. That wasn’t something that could be fixed right away so we did have to walk around it during our stay. I also contacted the host because the listing included beach towels and toys which were not in the condo. Again she responded quickly and offered to reimburse us for towels since the listing did include it. That was appreciated. Very little storage in the unit. Queen bed was very comfortable, however bunk beds and sofas were quite worn and uncomfortable for sleeping. Although the listing says sleeps 6, I would say 4 max. With a few updates on the beds, this place could be 5 stars.

Loved the Bungalow

The location is perfect-a few short steps from the sand and surf. The bungalow’s decor—upgraded light fixtures, tile work and kitchen made it feel upscale. We especially enjoyed the personalized touch like the oil paintings of local SPI icons, and the mini fans on all the beds. Thank you for sharing this beautiful bungalow with us.
