Overall this is a fine property with a location that is very desirable. The inside of the home was nice and clean, although we did find earwigs in the cabinets and ants on the counter. The outside left a lot to be desired which is unfortunately since outside is where you want to be in South Haven! VRBO should require updates of photos on the listings because the current photos cannot be within 3 years. The bushes were overgrown, and it was noticeable upon our first impressions, I rolled my ankle 65 times in the yard from the moles that were wreaking havoc on the yard, my daughter practically endo'ed on her bike from mole runs. There is a tree growing between the patio and the home by the doorwall. The screen doors either didn't slide or were difficult to slide. The property had massive spider webs everywhere including around the outdoor table. If I was the owner, I wouldn't be happy at all with the management company assuming they are responsible with the upkeep of the exterior. I received 3 welcome messages, 3 sales messages and 3 departures messages from the management company which is great (minus the sales), but they failed to reply to our ONE question on VRBO posted 48 hours in advance. We will not be staying with Shores Vacation Rentals again.
