Vineyard Estate Perfection!

We were vacationing with our adult children and spouses and wanted a place where we could enjoy each other when not touring and “tasting”!! This was the perfect place! The vineyard surrounding the house was so beautiful , the house was super clean, everyone had their own space, the beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had had everything you needed and more! I would highly recommend this property! Carole (the host) was so easy to work with and the check in/check out was a breeze! To top it off, the wine we purchased from her vineyard was delicious! This setting made our vacation one to remember for a lifetime!

Absolutely perfect!

We LOVED staying at this magnificent property. The listing is very accurate and the outdoor space is even better than the pictures with amenities and vistas! There are four bedrooms with two of them “en-suite”. Two additional bedrooms share a bath but there is another full bath downstairs so plenty for everyone. The living space and dining area are both very generous with lots of room to spread out. Carole was fantastic to work with and super responsive when we had questions. We are hoping to repeat our multi-generational Thanksgiving in Sonoma again and would love to repeat in the house.

Amazing property

Extremely pleased with our stay at this beautiful home. The open floor plan was great for our group to enjoy each other but also large enough for everyone to have their own private space/bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Pool/hot tub were both a great way to end the day. Communication with owners/managers was excellent despite not needing anything. Would highly recommend this home.

Wonderful Property & Comfortable Home……

My family and our longtime friends came to Sonoma to stay for a week as our son and future Daughter In Law were getting married in Yountville. We wanted a home that we could all come to & relax in prior & after the wedding as many of you know planning a wedding from afar can be trying and a bit stressful. I booked Carole’s beautiful home as I read the reviews and they were all positive on her property. I’m a Realtor and normally have a great eye and can tell if a property is decent even though the pics can make them look amazing! Carole’s home was everything that we thought it would be and more! The home was immaculate when we arrived and I’m a very picky person when it comes to cleanliness. It was stocked well w/the necessities to get by for a few days/week. When we arrived we were greeted w/a case of Carole’s wine which was so nice and very yummy! Jack the property manager even brought us fresh eggs every few days which were absolutely amazing! Thanks Jack! I’m not a cat person as I love dogs but I quickly warmed up to Orangey the property cat and fed him in the am & pm. He never let me pet him however he was always happy🐱🐈😃 greet me both in the am and pm for his daily meals. The property was so quiet and relaxing and we all were very comfortable at the home and we all had a great time! I would highly recommend Carole’s home/property if you’re looking for an amazing place to stay in the Sonoma/Napa area. Thanks so much Carole & Jack for an amazing time!❤️

Perfect Wine Country Get-Away!

Our family of five (adults) LOVED our week-long stay! Both the property owner and the caretaker responded within minutes when we reached out with minor questions. The complimentary Copland wines and fresh eggs were a delicious and unexpected treat when we arrived. We settled quickly into our laid-back daily routine—first one up brewed the coffee and fed Orangey. Even with the temptation of so many great wineries, restaurants, and activities nearby, we spent most of our time at the house lounging by the pool, playing bocce ball, getting a few quick rides in on the Peloton, preparing and enjoying nightly dinners featuring fresh tomatoes from the garden, and capping off the evenings with a soak in the spa. The kitchen was well-equipped, and guestrooms were clean and comfortable. This beautiful property was also the perfect backdrop for our “Wine Country Murder Mystery” dinner (costumes and all) and PowerPoint Night (yes, it’s a thing). The hot air balloons floating directly overhead at sunrise were a fun surprise as well. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful home and property

We stayed at this place with our 4 adult children and significant others while attending Bottle Rock and doing some Napa and Sonoma wine tastings. The home was beautiful, clean and really enjoyable for our group. We loved having the wine from thier vinyard and being able to have a lovely outdoor bbq and wine tasting to include a few friends. Carole was very responsive and it was overall a great experience -- I highly recommend the property.

This property is gorgeous. Surrounded by vineyard, with a beautifully decorated, modern house, with a huge, well-appointed kitchen. We celebrated a 50th birthday with two families and a couple additional friends and there was more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable. Super comfy couches! The host and the property caretaker were very easy to reach and so helpful! We loved the fresh produce from the raised bed gardens. Dana, the caretaker, even explained each variety of tomato and pepper. The kids enjoyed the pool, the grounds, and became fast friends with Orangey the cat. We can't wait to come back.

Everything was exactly as expected or better. The owner and property manager took care to make sure we had all of our questions answered before we even asked them, with many thoughtful touches throughout the house. Superb Experience

This property has it all. Communication before and throughout the stay was great. The property was relaxing and quiet, yet located close to everything we wanted to do. Napa & Sonoma are short rides away. The house was extremely clean and organized. Plenty of room for all guests to have privacy when wanted. The pool area had sufficient areas to lounge or play games. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again when we're back in the area.

Beautiful Modern Farmhouse in Sonoma Wine Country

This was the ideal property for our holiday family gathering. The home has a modern, clean aesthetic, plenty of space, gorgeous lighting and beautiful outdoor areas! We enjoyed our estate grown Cabernet, Chardonnay and Pinot (thank you Carole) while overlooking the lush landscaping and sweeping vineyard views. The organic garden and Orangey, the ambassador barn cat was a bonus treat for all. A peaceful and tranquil location, minutes to Sonoma Square dining and shopping and around 30 minutes to Napa and Yountville. Concierge level service from the property manager and our gracious host Carole elevated our stay. A truly memorable experience for our family and an idyllic place to retreat.

This is the second time we've booked this home at Caplan vineyards, and we will definitely stay there again--everything is clean, modern and perfect for a relaxing family getaway! Great location in Sonoma

This property was a great floor plan for group of friends. We used all the areas the property had to offer ... amazingly equipped kitchen (appreciated), the grill (very clean), the outdoor dining table, the pool, the bocce court and even the firepit. We used it all. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Good closet space in the masters. Definitely recommend! My ONLY small piece of feedback is the bath towels were on the scratchy side. The pool towels were softer, so we used those. Not a big deal and didnt impact our stay in the slightest. but just thought you should know. Hope to be back!

Excellent House in Wine Country

We rented this fabulous property in Sonoma, CA for our stay with a group of six friends. The house was stunning. Beautifully appointed with ample space and a beautiful backyard. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and gave a good balance between downtime to rest and time to socialize with the group. Additionally the property is in the southern portion of the town which makes access to both Sonoma and Napa very easy from this property. The owner and property manager were very helpful and assessable for any questions, but everything is so well organized that the stays goes very smoothly. We would highly recommend this home.

Wonderful home for extended family to visit Sonoma.

Clean and well equipped home with a fantastic great room kitchen for socializing. Out door area is well landscaped with excellent outdoor dining and pool game area. Orangy the cat was a fun bonus.

Great stay in Sonoma

Our stay at Carole's house was lovely. It was perfect for a family vacation - big enough with plenty of space to lounge around together. The location was really convenient and great for biking. Carole gave great information on her favorite bike route and we took advantage of biking as much as possible. Overall, we had a fantastic stay.

Quality Time with Family in a Beautiful Sonoma home

It was lovely to have this spacious and hidden gem all to ourselves for a pre Thanksgiving getaway. We enjoyed cooking family meals and tasting/drinking the wines from the vineyards. (What a nice surprise when we checked in). We had the pool heated for us over the Thanksgiving break and it was well worth the cost. We also enjoyed several games of bocchi and table tennis. We passed on using the BBQ as it need a bit of cleaning. This is a lovely place for a family vacation. The location is quiet, safe & private and not as close to town or napa as we expected but we made it work. We are not cat people but Orangey was easy to manage and very timely with his need to be fed.(smile) Two quick things that we would recommend addressing- heating system. We couldn't get the home warm enough (lots of windows) and there wasn't enough blankets so we were never warm enough. The second thing was the cobwebs on many of the windows...it was almost like the home hadn't been used for awhile. Despite this, we recommend the home if you want a beautiful home to spend quality time with family and friends. You will not regret it.

Perfect Wine Country Getaway

The property was even better than the photos (which are pretty amazing). It was very spacious and easily accommodated a group of 8 college friends. The host proactively communicated with us and checked in. Highly recommend!
