lovely old pub . breakfast very lovely,great service. Only downside there was no hooks on back of doors or on bedroom wall for coats when been out in the rain. There was no chair in the room for relaxing.

We had 1 night stay and had a lovely time. Didn’t have an evening meal but breakfast was amazing. I had Salmon Benedict and it was exceptional. Would most definitely recommend staying here. Only 2 things was we stayed in another building behind the pub of which the front door didn’t lock which would of been nice and felt a little safer (however there was a proper door lock on the room) and we couldn’t find the WiFi code in the room. I would advise getting this from the pub first.

Great 2 night stay
Excellent stay - room lovely and clean, fresh appearance. Food at breakfast and evening meal both really good - plenty of different choices for breakfast in particular.

Have stayed here before and will do again.very nice cosy old building.The rooms warm and comfortable with everything provided.Bar area clean and comfortable. Would say that the meals were expensive.

Our experience was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was very nice and the breakfast was outstanding with an abundance of choice. Would recommend for a long or short stay and will be going again.

This was such a lovely place to stay. We were in a cottage outbuilding, which In snowy weather was cosy and so warm at all times, with an excellent shower. We were just in time for the Christmas menu, and had a lovely evening meal, and great breakfasts. Very much recommend the smoked haddock for breakfast! Thank you so much, Howard and Nicky.
