This was our very first time staying anywhere else that wasn’t in a hotel and it did not disappoint at all. The cottage was beautifully maintained, clean, minutes away from Sister Bay, and so many attractions. As we ventured throughout Door County, we thought that it was the best of both worlds — nature and built environment for tourists with food and shopping. Then, we went on a trolley ride and our driver, John, who is a Door County native, said that he thought about it over some Miller Lite beers from my home in Milwaukee, distilling it to one word. Balance. Door County strikes the perfect balance. The cottage in its more remote location, proximity, and modern touches helped us to understand the same. We’ll be back!

My mom and I absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. The property was exactly as advertised. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the fireplace and the location which was peaceful and beautiful. It was just far enough away (2.8 miles) from Sister Bay. Communication with the owner was excellent. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely cottage!

Cute cottage in woods ! Private great porch for sitting outside. Nice fire pit and beautiful inside decor , fireplace and everything you need . Stayed here 2 times so far and it’s a favorite . Close drive to everything .

Sister Bay retreat

The cottage is immaculate and has such a serene atmosphere. We enjoyed sitting on the porch enjoying nature away from all the activity in the town of Sister Bay. The main town of Sister Bay is such a short drive to get to but we enjoy the peace and quiet the cottage had. We would definitely stay again during our next visit to Door County. They were quick to respond to any questions we ask too.

Lofted Pines

We had a great stay at the Lofted Pines Cottage! The home is beautiful, comfortable and just what we wanted off the beaten path but close enough to downtown Sister Bay. We enjoyed the quiet and seeing the wildlife. This home was perfect for my husband & I to unwind for the week and enjoy the peninsula. Marcelle is a Wonderful, communicative host. We will be back!

Pure Relaxation

Peaceful, out in nature with beautiful grounds and only 9 min to town . So comfortable with fireplace inside and nice fire pit outside and great porch area seating. Excellent place to relax! Beautifully decorated .
