Birchwood Lodge was a great value. The property is a little dated but it’s spotlessly clean. It’s located walkably close to downtown Sister Bay. It’s a good spot to stay for your Door County visit.

It was nice to be away from the bustle of the downtown area. Very quiet property. Balcony was very nice. Room was okay, had a wall in center of room that made it feel crowded, TV was small and awkwardly placed.

The Birchwood Lodge was a nice choice for staying in sister Bay Wisconsin. We enjoyed the spacious room our room overlooked the pool on the second floor and there is also plenty of other amenities available on property. We would stay here again.

Smelly Stay

First of all the hallway outside our room smelled of a dead mouse or rodent, i know the smell and thats what it smelled like. Then our room smelled of foot odor. Our room was very outdated, but we knew this when we booked. The ice machine was out of order the first night. The 2nd night the pop machine was out of pepsi. The tv is up too high for viewing and was only a 32 inch. Definately would not stay there again. I would give it 2 out of 5 stars, only because it had a whirlpool tub and decent AC.
