The only thing we didn’t like was we were always told “we are short staffed” which meant our rooms didn’t get cleaned, we had to go down to the front desk to get towels. Someone next to us was smoking weed & had the hallways & elevator smell terrible! The bar lady was sort of rude as well. Just short and was bothered when asked to place orders.

Sioux City Courtyard Marriott

Good stay. Only a few issues. The water pressure in the shower was not good. Also, when a toilet flushed on the floor above it sounded like water rushing down the wall while you slept often waking me up. Last issue was the homeless. A fair amount and some were in the parking garage elevator area when we left putting me on edge with my family. The Sioux City PD did show up and run them off property which was nice to see.

Absolutely terrible experience at this hotel. Didn’t receive the room I ordered and the front desk told me they couldn’t do anything about it. They called the manager and they said they also couldn’t do anything about it. It’s nice to pay for something you don’t receive!!

Everything was going great until got to the room and is a lot smaller than expected. The fridge in the room is the smallest fridge I never seen before. I’m a little disappointed about those 2 things. Everything else is ok so far.

What had happened was—-

So I would have given them a full “excellent” rating but the night of stay (of course this had to happen the one night I chose to spend a little more and stay here), apparently the water pipes had burst and they had several plumbing companies try to fix it. Because of this, their restaurant closed early so I wasn’t able to try their food or coffee in the morning. Also, the tv cut out an hour into my stay and didn’t come back on until I was alseep and it woke me up. Finally, tried to take a shower in the morning pero the water was cold as my ex’s heart, Asides from these, the establishment is amazing. Kinda wish they would’ve comped my coffee at the place across the street but whatever.
