The staff was fantastic and the hotel is very clean. The bed was horrible. I was tossing and turning all night, and woke up in so much pain that we ended up canceling our plans. The bed is the most important thing... I'm paying to sleep, and if i can't sleep well, it's not worth my money. Also, the bathroom was not desiged well. The toilet paper was located on the wall opposite the toilet. Too far away to reach if you have short arms like me.

This hotel is owned by a father and son who have put a lot of time and money into remodeling this hotel. Hats off to them they hired a wonderful young man who is doing a great job. He came in and apologized for a little dust being on the pool deck because of installing new tile in the pools bathroom The pool was clean and very inviting. The rooms are very clean updated and a beautiful gray on the walls. Bed was comfortable. Asked for a first floor because of no elevator and my husband being blind in one eye and does not have short vision can't see to go down steps. Was given first floor room . Food was good with hot and cold choices. Staff was always wiping down tables and food area. Very home like feeling with wonderful friendly staff always there asking if you needed anything. Great place to stay This is my choice hotel to stay at every time we come through the area.

The rooms were very clean along with the hotel. There wasn’t a lot out for breakfast, but what was out was good. The staff seemed friendly however there was a staff in the morning that was walking around on their cell phone having a conversation publicly. It just seemed a little unprofessional. When some of the breakfast items ran out, there had to be a request for more rather than it being checked on.

We only stayed one night but were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was rather elegant! The lobby was beautiful with a huge fireplace & pit group, plus tables & chairs for dining nearby. We actually used it to play cards & were very comfortable! Our room looked updated & very modern, wonderful beds & firm mattresses. Very clean, bathroom was roomy & modernized with plenty of decent towels. A full closet, bureau with drawers & microwave & fridge, an iron & ironing board, desk with lamp & cell phone charging station. The clock on the nightstand wasn't able to change to the the current DST. Two overhead lamps on the wall beside both beds. I loved the double shades for daytime or blackout lighting! Another great thing was the 46" Smart TV that had a guide on the remote with a great cable pkg! The hotel was about a block from Four Brothers Restaurant & they gave us a 10% off coupon. It's also close to Culvers, KFC, Popeye's, & Walmart. We will definitely stay again!

The hotel parking was adequate, the room was spacious enough and clean, there were a few items that needed minor maintenance, the breakfast was good but limited in selection. Overall a nice place to stay at the price point.

When I made reservations— the room I reserved said it slept 5. When we got to room— there were 2 beds. There were 5 in our group. When we asked for a rollaway. — staff said they did not have any. Policy is 4 to room maximum. I explained when I reserved room- it said it slept 5. All I got was a deer in headlights look. Staff could have cared less. Will never ever stay at one of these hotels again. And I will tell everyone I know of my experience!!!
