As a first-time visitor to India, this was a very nice hotel to stay at. The reception staff were pleasant, helpful and checked me in at 1:00am; and were also able to arrange for a car (at cost) to take me to an appointment. The room was clean and serviced daily. The restaurant had a good variety of food for breakfast and dinner. All of the day trips I had organised picked-up from the hotel.

We stayed at multiple hotel while visiting India and Trident was by far our favorite. The staff, from the doormen to front desk to restaurant and in room dining personnel were smiling & friendly and always happy to help us. The level of cleanliness and security was top of class as well. We stayed at more expensive, “better” hotels that were not on level with Trident. We will be returning to Chennai often and will stay at Trident exclusively from now on! .

Great hotel near airport
Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Staff are attentive and warm, and show good initiative. For example when I dropped my fork at the breakfast service, they noticed and immediately came and replaced my fork without me having to ask for a new one. Breakfast in terms of taste and variety as far as 5 star hotels go is only average though. However, it is good enough for a business stay. Location of the hotel is close to the airport, making it convenient to transit there if you have to catch an early morning flight.

The Staff at Trident hotel Chennai love their job. I found them all courteous, helpful and very willing to answer all my questions. This was my first visit to Chennai this April 2024. I stayed between 04/24 -04/28. During this time the hotel Concierge recommended me to the best tourist sights including shopping areas. This is an establishment where the employees love their job and give their very best to their guests. Thank you to everybody at Trident who made my first visit to Chennai a beautiful experience !!
