2nd visit to the city IBIS just one night stop over. The Hotel is modern and well managed
Check in: consistent with our last visit speedy.
Room: Comfortable bed, Coffee tea maker and fridge all in good working order. The bathroom unlike our last visit was in good order and functional.
Breakfast: good choice of food both Asian and European.
Staff: Again the big plus for us were staff who helped us arrange a Taxi to Pondicherry thanks again for the support it was very much appreciated and one reason I would recommend this hotel and will use again when in Chennai

Our check in was fast and a room was allocated on arrival although we were slightly early.
Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable with good quality sheets.
The bathroom was functional but worn.
We used the Restaurant and bar both nights of our stay, there was a good selection of both Indian and international dishes.
The barman Thama was able to help us with our choices and provided a good standard of service.
Staff on the whole were professional and helpful, a special thank you for the young lady who helped us with our airline booking it was much appreciated.
We intend to use the IBIS city again in the very near future and hopefully have a similar experience.

The rooms had good facilities. But it was not clean.
There was a bad smell coming as soon as you entered the room. More focus on cleanliness is needed.
