I was told there was a $15 per fee. Because I have 2 dogs they want to charge for the fee twice. Surrounding property is unkempt. Dirty, cigarette butts, full garbages, weeds and mud not grass. Concrete at doorways need pressure washing.

Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Nice pool area. Beds are comfortable. Our lcomplaint is the carpets in hallway had dirt and debris. At entrance they allow smokers to smoke there and there was garbage ex: beer bottle ,cigarette butts everywhere. Outside door to room is very dirty yuk. I went and bought some Clorox and equipment and cleaned my room. The towel was black. I have a pic. Our air conditioner broke but staff came in and placed another one. Due to Expedia policies I had to stay in that hotel as I would have not been refunded. Many homeless and drug addicts around.

Very, very, busy receiving area. Lots of people just hanging out in lobby and outside hotel doors. Staff friendly. Hallways very dirty and need a good vacuum and paint refresh. Bad first impression. Room was quite large. Bathroom and room both quite clean and comfortable. Paint on doorframes in bathroom and adjoining room chipped and needs a paint refresh. Beds very comfortable but poorly made. Sheets bunched up, very wrinkled, and poorly tucked. Had to remake bed. Stay was ok but very expensive for accommodations received.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. There was pet hair everywhere, including on the bathroom towels, and the room had a strong smell of wet animals. The body wash in the shower was empty, and the blinds were torn. The beds however are very comfortable. Check-out was also frustrating, taking over 35 minutes because staff weren’t sure how to process the pet fee. While the staff were friendly, they didn’t seem very knowledgeable and didn’t provide much information at check-in or during the stay. On a more positive note, the hotel restaurant was a highlight, great prices, generous portions, and welcoming staff. The Nordic-inspired finishings throughout the hotel are also a nice touch and add a bit of charm. Overall, not a terrible stay, but definitely room for improvement in cleanliness and communication.

Vast improvement! The room was lovely- newly redecorated with clever features including a kitchenette. I will happily stay again. A small complaint is that the lighting and outlets near the bed were not working. Also- it would sure be nice to see the courtyard mowed and tidied up; it’s actually a nicely landscaped area but needs maintenance!

The property's prime is clearly behind it, but the management's effort to preserve its Nordic charm is commendable. A buffet-style breakfast would be preferable—and might also spare guests encounters with staff whose best days seem similarly distant.
