The perfect overnight spot on a family trip from Portland to SF. Simple but comfortable accommodation in a very convenient location and the kids loved the pool and breakfast, but the care AFTER our stay was outstanding. Our younger child left his beloved (& very ragged) comforter buried in the bedclothes. Helen at reception and Robyn in housekeeping saved the day and organised for ‘Minty’ to be repatriated to Scotland. We’re eternally grateful for such considerate service.

The sinks in my room had hot water, but the shower did not. The area in the room with tile flooring was sticky. The room had a balcony, even though the pictures show outdoor furniture there wasn’t any - Not sure what the point is to have a balcony if you can’t enjoy it. When I checked out I told the front desk about the hot water but she didn’t even acknowledge what I said. I do NOT recommend this hotel at all.

Nice size room, clean and new appearance. Lacking in small amenities such as hand soap (bring your own) and lotion. Shower has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

We checked into our room and the location was a little sketchy. When we opened the room we were assigned the beds were mussed and there werw towels in the floor. They gave us another room after i told them the situation, but it waa very inconvenient. The ice machine was broken, but the breakfast was good.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times. The breakfast was excellent and the cook was friendly and super helpful(he was the best part of the stay), overall the staff kind and helpful. There were a couple things I wasn’t thrilled about. It looked like they cleaned it in a rush. Beds were sloppily made, and my infants feet were filthy after crawling on the floor, which tells me they probably didn’t mop the tile. They also only gave us two towels with the knowledge there were 5 of us staying in the room, and both towels were wet: one damp and the other pretty wet like it didn’t dry in the dryer at all. They looked clean, so I wasn’t concerned that they were used. The other thing I didn’t like was our room had a sliding glass door that was accessible from the parking lot and we woke up in the middle of the night to Vagrants hanging out by it. Not sure if they had an ulterior motive but my husband stayed up until they left. Something like that makes you not feel safe. We were only staying for one night, so we dealt.

The staff were attentive and really helpful. The room was spacious and the pool was the perfect temperature. A great place to relax between hikes in the majestic Redwoods!

A lovely hotel surrounded by nature.
Our room was amazing, but didn't have an elevator(something I wish I knew ahead of time as my MIL is disabled). Outside of the room was somewhat messy with some dead bugs, however it's somewhat to be expected when your surrounded by so much nature. There was a wonderful restaurant just behind the hotel, that had some delish food. Only real complaint was that we just so happened to visit during one of the hottest times of the year, and the AC didn't seem to help our room cool down that much(maybe if they installed a ceiling fan it'll help circulate the air better?).

Excellent staff, greee breakfast that this chain offers wasnt good. Only dry cereal and oranges available. We didnt even have any. Room was clean but sliding screen came off in my hand. Not bad, but could use some updating

There are so many aunts in the room. We had to kill at least 50 of them around the TV table. We were tired from traveling and just finished cleaning up, so we did not ask for another room.

Little bummed considering how much the room was for the night. Shower had hair in it, no body soap in the shower container, toilet seat was up, two bath towel, no toiletries, only decaf in the room coffee machine with only one hot cup.

Nestled in acute little town. You’re just looking for a place to stop to sleep for the night. Great option. Staff is great! Suggestion would be for you to stay on the top floor was loud. Our bottom floor room with pool access was quite dark and carpets. Need cleaning or replacement. Breakfast was OK but they have a cute area to sit in. Full would be nice just for a dip on a hot day. It’s definitely one of the nicer hotels in Garberville

Great staff, breakfast, remodeled beautiful rooms. Very accommodating for our families celebration for our grandsons High School graduation! Fantastic authentic Mexican restaurant behind the Hotel.
