Acacia Bed and Breakfast

"Clean rooms, amazing hosts"
We really enjoyed our stay at Acacia, with particular mention to the cleanliness of the rooms and the top service provided by our hosts. Lovely couple who did everything they could to ensure a comfortable stay for us, including fitting in an extra early breakfast so that we could make our early flight back to Sydney. Would definitely stay here again.

"Easy and close to to the shops. "
The location was perfect for us, it is right on the main street so we could walk to our restaurant in minutes. Everything in the main street of Sheffield can be walked to in minutes anyway, so you can't go wrong!

Sherwood View Accommodation

298 Coalhill Road, Latrobe - Map
"Clean and Spacious"
We found Sherwood View Accommodation at Latrobe to be very clean and very spacious. We stayed in Room 2. The host, Neil was very friendly upon arrival and we had a short chat and asked a few questions about the area which were knowledgeably answered. The room was basically three rooms with a kitchen/ diner, lounge/ bedroom and huge bathroom with a shower and basin. There was a good array of food left in the fridge for breakfast the following day such as yoghurt, bacon, toast and plenty of cereal in the cupboard along with milk and butter.... There was an array of DVD's for use as well as a television and reading material. To top it off Sherwood View is so quiet to stay at, so peaceful and relaxing and has a superb view looking across the valley to the stunning Mount Roland....Sherwood View is a great spot to stay if you are in the area..

Quality Hotel Gateway

"Lovely hotel in great location"
We spent two nights of a long weekend at the Quality Hotel Gateway, my husband and I with our 5 year old daughter. We booked the night before our stay so were thankful to get a room. When we arrived the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We got more than we expected when it came to the accommodation as we got two spa suites side by side. The rooms smelled clean and fresh and were spotless.

    Accommodation In Sheffield

Tucked away in the foothills of Tasmania's Mount Roland, Sheffield has reinvented itself from a small town into a bustling tourist hub. Local artists have painted murals on the walls across town, so join and delight in their beautiful and colourful creations. Our Sheffield accommodation is charming and packed with the friendly hospitality you've come to know and love from Australia's rural towns. Come visit the 'Town of Murals' on your next holiday!

December 1986 saw the first mural unveiled in Sheffield and today there are over sixty for you to see as you stroll throughout the town. The city centre has many galleries and studios featuring the work of local artists, from paintings to photography, ceramics, pottery and woodworking there is something to tweak everyone's interest. If you are visiting in April, be sure to check out the Mural Fest art competition. If you miss the competition, the works from the top nine finalists are still displayed in Mural Park for the rest of the year.

For a beautiful view across the region, take the hike to Mount Roland - the panoramic photo opportunities are well worth the climb. If that's a bit too strenuous, visit some of the local wineries for a much more relaxed afternoon of tasting wine and dining on lovely cuisine. Sports lovers always love Lake Barrington, an international standard rowing venue and a great place to try your hand at waterskiing. For more chilled activities, trout fishing or a pleasant canoe paddle along the waters drops the pace back down to relaxation mode. Bring your family to enjoy the playground and parks, and for an easy stroll on a great rainforest walk.

Kimberley's Thermal Springs are a wonderful tourist spot with warm waters always sitting above 24 degrees, so you can enjoy a swim in the naturally heated pool anytime of the year. The last stop you absolutely have to make is Tasmazia and the Village of Lower Crackpot, just 15 minutes out of town. With eight mazes to test your logic, a miniature village, a pancake factory and a lavender and honey farm on site, the property is a great tourist spot for the kids.

Only 23km inland from Devonport, and 220km from Hobart, Sheffield is a laidback and tranquil holiday spot for anyone who loves art and culture.
