Expedia platinum VIP ACCESS Not recognised. No perks so don’t book if you’re planning to for the vip access perk. The place was abit old. Still acceptable, nothing fancy. For the price, seems reasonable. Bed was good. 3 pillow, each. Winter seems to be abit warm. Personally try to make it cold but couldn’t get the room to be cold. Location is really good nevertheless. A lot of things below and towards walking distance. Hotel lobby pick up point and drop off is kinda bad. Taxi driver usually drop you off opp the hotel because they couldn’t go up or find the location to go up to lobby drop off(at level 2). Not hotel fault but design is abit weird. Overall I booked my stay because of vip access perks and location. Since the perks was a let down, I won’t recommend this place and won’t be staying here again. But overall, location is really good if you like busy street below.

I was disappointed with my recent stay at the Radisson. The overall condition of the hotel appears poorly maintained and quite dated. The bedroom walls were dusty, which was concerning, especially given that the bed was positioned directly against the wall. This gave the impression that the room had not been cleaned thoroughly. While I expected a higher standard from a hotel of this brand, the lack of upkeep significantly affected my comfort and experience. I hope management will address these maintenance and cleanliness issues to meet the expectations associated with the Radisson name.

This hotel is super convenient and accessible to The Bund, Nanjing walking street and the train station. The room is clean and bed is comfortable but not for the extra bed. The extra bed is very hard. The hotel buffet is expensive. I would suggest to go out for meals instead.

Overall, I had a great stay. The customer service was truly excellent, friendly, efficient, and always willing to help. On the first night, we were assigned a room located directly behind the lift. Unfortunately, the noise was constant and quite loud, so I called reception and asked for a room change, especially considering the price we paid. Within 10 minutes they had us moved to a much quieter room, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was also a highlight: a delicious buffet with plenty of variety. Even the music in the lift was a banger! 🤘 Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for better, the hotel sits right on one of Shanghai’s major commercial streets, making it super convenient to explore. If it hadn’t been for that initial lift noise experience, I would definitely book again without hesitation.

This hotel is a good choice for first time visitors to Shanghai. The location is excellent and central to many tourist areas. The staff were friendly and housekeeping was very good. The room is spacious and the shower is big and comfortable to use. I found the numerous lighting switches in the room confusing to use. But that is a very small matter. There was some construction noise at times during the night from a nearby renovation project, but it was almost completed. Otherwise the room was quiet. The breakfast buffet was very good. My only concern is that I found the music to be too loud. I would recommend something relaxing like traditional Chinese music for a breakfast buffet. There are several metro exits near the hotel. The closest exit has only stairs. However Nanjing road exit 2 has both an elevator and escalator.
