The view from the room is amazing! The bathroom area is large and comfortable. The room furniture is a bit dated and could use an upgrade. The location is in an office park so not convenient to just browse shops and have food choices.

Extraordinary moment begins right at the hotel driveway when the car door opens. There stood James who greeted us warmly and with the signature MO pride. And he had been around to help us in all ways beyond his duty. During check-in, the staff is kind of cute when she suddenly whispered to me so as not to let my better half hear her. She has noted that this is our anniversary stay! Thanks for the special arrangements. Room service is swift, and those who came are so helpful. The Club lounge people are so enthusiastic and sincere to deliver their services with passion and honour. Although shy, they are so eager to learn. We would like to express our gratitude to DM Vimi for her unreserved help, care, swift arrangement, and generousity. Also, to mention Poly for his attentiveness. Last but not least, we are extremely delighted to have Steven, FOM. Thank you for meeting us at the lobby to wrap up our stay with MO. Your stroke of kindness and friendship brings a final touch of sweetness to the goodbye moment. Truly extraordinary. Absolutely unforgettable. Location was nice and quiet, approx 1/2 mile from the subway which was inconvenient. The hotel offered a shuttle to the subway but it’s one way so lots of walking. Concierge was wonderful, helped us out with everything. We stayed on the 17th floor and it seemed to have some water leak that damaged all the hallway carpet which smelled moldy, that should be repaired. Overall it was a good hotel more like a 4 star, the view of the river made the stay.

We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Pudong for 3 nights. We originally booked a Club river view room and was upgraded to a suite. The room was a large size, big lounge area, bedroom and good size bathroom. Unfortunately the decor is all rather dated, and the carpet could do with a change. View was very good but the room needs a make over. The breakfast area was great with a good selection and in the end we didnt use the club benefits. The gym was well equipped. I would not stay again as there would be other hotels with better room accommodation.
