I was irritated by people offering prostitutes outside the front door, almost every time I came back to the hotel. The shower is over a small bath, which is not pleasant of an older person. The shower unit itself was a hose with the holder a lot lower than average height. Made showering properly a challenge.

I have been travelling in China on business for many years and Jin Jiang Tower is definitely the best choice of stay in Shanghai for business and pleasure, the excellent location in the downtown area with easy excess to the famous landmarks and plenty of shopping & dining options nearby. The staff is nice, courteous and helpful and room spacious, clean and tidy. Very comfortable stay in the center of Shanghai. For sure to stay in the next visits to Shanghai.

This was a nice hotel overall, it was comfortable and fairly quiet. It did feel like it could have been cleaner, and there was a very bad smell emanating from one half of my room the whole time. Couldn’t figure out what the source of it was. Location wise it was great. Still a lot of difficulty with communicating with staff, very little English, so have a translator with you.

Room clean and comfortable, check in easy and fast. All staff that I encountered were very polite, helpful and courteous. The neighborhood where the hotel was located was beautiful, tree lined streets with plenty of shops bars and restaurants was very walkable.
