We booked the room with 2 breakfast, but the hotel can not find it, and let me sign the bill to my room, the lady is not polit and not friendly, she ask me to contact with the agent right now, it took me time, after confirmed, without any apologies! Overall great hotel. I've stayed at six different hotels in the Shanghai area and these Courtyard by Marriott are always a solid choice. Pros: - Excellent breakfast - Good dinner options - Great service - Clean and modern rooms and lobby - A 25 min taxi ride from downtown Cons: - The rooms are on the small side (not too bad) - There's not much going on around the area within walking distance, have to take a quick taxi to the nearest shopping area - My room had a slight sewage smell coming from the bathroom. This is not the first time in Shanghai even at high end hotels. My co-worker's room didn't have it so I'd say it was bad luck - A 25 min taxi ride from downtown
