The room was as expected very clean . Maybe because we booked a few nights and it's more of a business hotel, than a tourist hotel, we had a huge room with large wind which had great views. Staff new good English and it's ideal if you are travelling by train because it's in the station, which has plenty of restaurants and all the facilities you expect from

The Hotel Metropolitan is literally located at Sendai Station. It’s easily the most convenient hotel if you arrive by train. The station features a plethora of restaurants, that every palate and price range is covered. There are two shopping centers and a Yodobashi Camers store right there. The Meteopolitan is an excellent location to base your travel around Miyagi Ken.

Staff are very helpful to store the baggage prior to check-in. Very good location, connected to Sendai Station. On-site coin laundry offer extra convenience. The 'eco stay' initiative truly enhanced my experience, maki g it both comfortable and environmentally responsible. I had a wonder stay.

The JR Metropolitan Hotel is excellent – and an excellent value for the money. The hotel is extremely convenient – right at the Sendai JR Main Station – but I’ve never found it noisy from the trains or otherwise. The rooms are clean and the service is excellent. The breakfast is decent – good enough to go with the convenience. However, as you are right at the Main JR station which includes an “SPAL” shopping area with many food choices, those who are a little adventurous will find many good (and less expensive) options. In sum, an excellent hotel where I look forward to staying again.
