Fantastic place. It's not the hotel's fault, but anybody who's seen downtown Seattle after 9 pm knows you can't give above a 3 for "area around the property". It's what 80's sci-fi dystopia movies thought the late 90's would be like.

The staff was especially rude and unaccommodating which is very undesirable in the world of hospitality! I don’t recommend unless you want front desk staff to yell at you in a condescending manner in front of all the people in line behind you. Coast Seattle Downtown was actually really nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fast and easy. The room was nice, with a terrific view (and fantastic shower pressure!).

Had an amazing experience at this hotel. I highly recommend to anyone looking for good hotel! They had a small store for small items and snacks. After checking out the staff let us store our things there to explore the city and then return. They also had little slippers in the room to have make you feel at home.

Great hotel with great service

From the moment we checked in we felt very welcomed. Wonderful front desk staff. We had a king room on the 25th floor. Comfortable bed, large room, nice bathroom, great shower, and everything was clean.

Great value here, would come back again. Let us check in early and able to bring car in and out if needed. Parking very expensive for guest but this is same at all hotels . Still very expensive though .

Complete turn off

I was assigned a room that had not been cleaned prior to my arrival. The bathroom sink had toothpaste in it as if from someone who had just checked out. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and in the shower. There was a used plastic laundry bag hanging in the closet as if I was expected to reuse someone’s dirty laundry bag. As someone who worked in hotel housekeeping, I can assure you the only thing they did was change out the towels and make the bed fresh. No other cleaning was done and I had to clean the room myself in able to feel comfortable. Who wants to check in a hotel and have to clean someone else’s dirty toothpaste out the sink? This experience was a turn off.
