Mixed feelings

Our stay started very bad. A woman at the bar checked us in but we waited 1,5 hour to get the right room. She shake the head at us more time which made us feel uncomfortable at our stay. Very much a shame. Not before checkout we experienced a English speaking staff. Hotel and view is beautiful. And the food was good as well.

Great views and accessibility

We had a great stay, above our expectations. Excellent location and value for money. Close the the ski bus stop, a short bus ride to the lifts. Efficient served and good hearty meals in a typical Austrian ski style. Good views from our room. Modern clean and relaxing sauna for post ski.

Perfect!

This family run hotel is a perfect choice for families, couples and friends. They have thought of everything to make your stay a pleasant one. The rooms are very clean, quite large and with plenty of storage. The food choices are great, the food itself is really good and plentiful. We stayed on a half board basis and could choose from a salad bar, then a starter, then soup, a main course and then dessert. There is a small bar area and a small reception where you can pick up free wifi. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff who always have a smile on their faces. The heated boot room is well equipped and the ski bus stops right outside which is just fabulous. It is about a 10 minute bus ride to the Penkenbahn lift and you always get a seat as you are one of he first stops.

Great hotel for skiholidays

Very nice location and accomodation with sauna and nice breakfast. Rooms were basic, but with shower and toilet included. If you were lucky, you had a beautiful view from the mountains.

Leuk knus hotel met vriendelijk personeel .

Aan de rand van mayrhofen, dus je bent wel afhankelijk van de ski bus. Ontbijt prima. Avond eten vond ik niet geweldig. Goede ski ruimte. Prima hotel voor een korte ski vakantie.

Hotel mit 70er - Jahre - Charme

Es erwartete uns ein unscheinbares Hotel in der NĂ€he von Mayrhofen. Es gibt ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten und im Winter fĂ€hrt der Skibus 20 m vor der TĂŒr ab zu den Talstationen der Mayrhofener Bergbahnen. Der Empfang war freundlich. Die Zimmer sind zwar sauber, haben allerdings noch den Charme der 70 er Jahre. Das Bad ist wenig funktionell eingerichtet. Es fehlen Ablage -und AufhĂ€ngmöglichkeiten. Ebenso fehlen im Zimmer Möglichkeiten Jacken bzw. Skibekleidung aufzuhĂ€ngen. Im Anbau - bzw. Erweiterungsbau befindet sich im Keller der Saunabereich. Dieser hebt sich sehr von dem Rest des Hotels ab. Er ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ebenfalls sehr sauber. Es gibt einen schönen Ruheraum mit Ausgang in den Garten, eine Wasserzapfstelle, SchließfĂ€cher und einen separaten Umkleideraum. Das Essen ist sehr mittelmĂ€ĂŸig und unseres Erachtens lieblos angerichtet. Es schmeckte durchgehend nach nichts bzw. nicht viel. Das SalatbĂŒfett verdient den Namen nicht wirklich. Neben ein paar frischen SalatblĂ€ttern gibt es lediglich Fertigsalate aus der Dose, die Dressings waren wĂ€ssrig. Immerhin konnte man sich mit einigen wenigen bereitgestellten Ölen und Essigen den Salat selbst anmachen. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbĂŒfett war Ă€hnlich lieblos angerichtet. Die auf der Homepage aufgefĂŒhrte Tiroler Stube oder der Wintergarten sind nur einigen wenigen GĂ€sten vorbehalten. Man bekommt den Tisch fĂŒr die Dauer des Aufenthaltes zugewiesen und die meisten GĂ€ste saßen in dem erheblich ungemĂŒtlicheren Vorraum.

Ruhiges Hotel am Stadtrand

Die ServicekrĂ€fte des Hotels sind ĂŒberaus freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Das Abendessen war jeden Tag abwechslungsreich. Aus drei MenĂŒ-VorschlĂ€gen konnten wir wĂ€hlen und auch da ließ das Personal kleine Extra-WĂŒnsche zu. Wir hatten vor Ort zusĂ€tzlich HP gebucht und haben es nicht bereut. Preis-Leistung stimmten einfach!
