About this property

Casa Silvana - Villas del Palmar

Casa Silvana is a newly renovated 3 bedroom home in the lovely beachfront community of Villas del Palmar. Just a few steps from the beach and an easy 7 minute stroll into town. Come enjoy the ideal spot on Sayulita's north beach.

All homes in Villas del Palmar share a huge swimming pool with a separate shallow section for kids and a large beachfront palapa area. A great place to watch the sunset.

I live just a few houses away and am around to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

The beach in front of Villas del Palmar is the ideal place to take up some sun or surf without the huge crowd of people one encounters on the main beach by the downtown area.

Nice location but!!

The property is in need of some work. The sliding entry door is damaged and extremely difficult to lock. It literally takes two people to lock the door. One kitchen cabinet door is loose at the hinges. There is very little hot water. We ran out of water on our fourth day. Had to call manager for water deliver to a cistern in the floor of the living room. Never seen this before. One ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom didn’t work. The freezer drawer is very difficult to open. The following comments relate to visiting Sayulita. On our drive from PV to Sayulita, we were stopped by what I believe was a Transit Policeman. He said we were speeding. We were not. He said we could get a ticket and lose a day of our vacation to go pay the fine or pay him. We paid him. Basically a bribe. What a bad start to our vacation. On Wednesday morning I woke feeling very ill and spent the next day and a half either in bed or the bathroom. On Thursday, a repeat of this procedure for my brother in law. Friday night into Saturday, a repeat for my wife and sister in law. Not sure where we got it. We didn’t swim or surf because of the broken sewer line into the bay. We only drank bottled water. Food poisoning I guess. Anyway, enough sour grapes. Don’t think there will be any return trips to Sayulita.
