The hotel layout and lack of signage make it chaotic to find parking and direction to your room. Very choppy and not well set up.

We’ve stay here three times but this is will be our last , our room was like a deep freeze the way to our room some one had pissed all the way down the hall to where ever. Parking cost us 24 dollars and so called security wandering around. I thought I lived in Canada. Well not here again that’s for sure.

The hotel is under renovations at the time we stayed. The parking process is atrocious, there are four parking spots for guests to park in while checking in. Needless to say these were taken along with almost every other spare inch of space. When we got checked in finally our party had difficulty finding a spot. Our room was miles away, it took 10 minutes to walk to reception. The room was very outdated and freezing. We turned up the thermostat and it shook and rattled the whole way through the night. The TV, I didn't bother turning on because it was tiny and I wouldn't be able to see it from our bed. The bed was comfortable. Checkout was long, and we needed to hold on to a door card to get in to the parking lot to get our vehicle, then drop off the door card. Everything in our stay was hard work.

Do not book the west wing!! I normally take reviews with. Grain of salt but these rooms are disgusting!! Filthy and smelly. The front desk told us after we checked out that the west wing is all there unrenovated rooms. They offered to switch us upon complaint because the rooms were so smelly but that wasn’t my only complaint it was filthy and I would assume they have the same housekeepers for the renovated and non renovated side so I didn’t feel like a new room would be acceptable. We struggled to find our room Amongst the renovation down a dingy smelly falling a part corridor. A group of gentlemen were just hanging out in a dimly lit stair well that made us feel so unsafe. Because we prepaid on Expedia we were told there would be no refund. Spend the extra cash and save your self the headache and night mare

Decent Enough

The hotel location was great being near the university, and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The drawback was there was a lot of construction, so much so that I got lost as I was not even sure if floor 2 was open at first after going up the elevator. Also, I was not aware at booking that the pool and workout room were closed due to construction until after buying the room, which is not reasonable. Everything else was 10/10.

Keep improving please

I appreciate that they're undergoing renovations, but the fact the pool and hot tub are closed is not indicated prominently enough on the website with the room description. Very disappointed that we didn't realize this until we arrived at the hotel. Also, as they have switched from carpet to flooring in the guest rooms in the renos, the rooms are now much louder. We had an adjourning room and could hear the conversations of our neighbours and they were just speaking normal volume. The new parking arrangements with assigned parkade parking is fine but it was time consuming to go in and out of the parkade in a separate building. Also - there's only a mirror in the bathroom. No full length in the room at all. Such a small thing but makes it difficult for multiple people to get ready at once, that's a dealbreaker for us.

We've stayed here before, and i don't remember it being so run-down. The room was massive, but there was no way to control the temperature, so it was freezing cold. There was water leaking from somewhere in the bathroom making a puddle on the floor. Not a huge leak, but enough to collect into a puddle in 8 hours. We were also disappointed that the pool and gym facilities were closed down.

The only thing I was so mad about was that we only booked that room because there was a pool. But we where so upset when we get there paid for the room already and the pool is under renovations on the website there was no sign stating this I would have choose another place to book we had our swim suits on and was on the way down and got told it’s under renovations so mad I was so mad. Everything else was good but so mad abo it this I would of stayed somewhere else
