The gentleman on staff at check-in had such terrible smelling breath it was almost unbearable. Room was dirty and needed a deep clean. Stains on the walls and door, carpet and bathroom floor required a thorough clean. Paint chipped in numerous places. Dust and crud buildup on the floors in the corners. Workout area had random old machines in the middle with multiple extension cords strewn about the floor connecting them all. Breakfast was limited with both coffee and juice running out. Pillows were thick and impossible to sleep on. If you’re looking for a cheap night and don’t care about a sketchy place you’ll do ok, but pack your own pillow. I would personally not recommend and would not return.

I love the add options during the online check in, and the staff were all friendly. Unfortunately, a bunch of families there for a hockey tournament made the pool and water slide unsafe for us to use during the visit, and we’re running up and down the hallways, and playing hockey in the hallways of the 3rd and 4th until after 10pm. The parents were all drinking alcohol by the pool and in one room, and doing nothing to stop the kids, in fact often encouraging them, and I’m sure the staff felt helpless to stop them but it sure would have been nice for them to have tried harder.

We had two nights of drunk adults slamming doors and arguing with other hotel guests, while their children were unsupervised in the halls of EVERY floor, playing hockey, banging on walls, and knocking and running on doors. Quiet time is at 10, but this was happening from 8-12, with the parents telling their kids to go play in the hotel with their friends and be back at 10. We had to leave the pool for the safety of our own children. At one point 17 people were inside the waterslide (2 dads and the rest children), screaming and pushing, while 5 moms were drinking around the corner. 3 drunk dads started yelling at a guest when she asked them to be quiet in the halls. In one night we addressed the chaos in the hallways 3 times from our room, 3 times from my parents room on another floor, and twice by my sister on her own floor. I contacted the fromt desk 3 times, and other rooms also called many times. There was zero control over the situation all weekend.

Loved the amenities in the area and how safe it felt, easy to get around to other locations in the city. The hotel staff were wonderful. Check-in was an absolute breeze and the man checking me in was so friendly and kind. Loved that breakfast was on until 10am each day and the ladies who ran the breakfast buffet were so sweet! Would absolutely stay here again.
